BeamNg is a physics developer and programmer company of just 4 people and have maid this Alpha Mini / Driving Game to showcase what they can do and what could be the future of Driving Physics Very Happy . My friend told me about this and had it on beta. He said that the driving wasn't that great but it was in Beta but he told about the Damage. IT LOOKS CRAZY REALISTIC. If Damage Models are to improve on Forza T10 need to employ these guys

This is actually a few years old Smile I reckon it could be implemented into a racing game in the future but the only issue is licensing. Car manufacturers don't like seeing virtual versions of their beloved cars getting beaten up realistically. Even GRID has to dumb it down a bit.

I reckon it's best place would be on a game like GTA or maybe Battlefield, where there isn't any licensed cars.

I don't think that I would like to see a Noble M600 get crumbled like the car at 4:16 Laughing All jokes aside I would agree with you that I could see something like this being in the new Grand Theft Autos. IV was failry good for damage except for the odd glitch where Niko Bellic is actually outside of the car while driving after a Helicopter hits a car.

Chris and I had a thread going about BeamNG awhile ago - on my phone so can't find the thread to link to - but I've been following them for awhile. It's just a team of two guys, and so far they have made an island with loads of roads to drive the cars around on top of the amazing physics.

There has been a countdown in their forums for the last few days which I think ends tonight. Hopefully this means we will get an alpha release as I would totally buy it.
