For example - how about asking the pole sitter what side they want for the start?

Am I right in thinking that 1st place in C lobby will score higher than last place in B lobby should the 'Lobby Podium Boost' Incentive be included?

So is this rule definitely closed and won't be taken out? I know it only applies to certain championships

yep certian championships may see it used, not many will need to be looked at.

Yep Chris need state each track has a start position for lead drivers

Fair enough if it won't be used, but it seems a bit back to front though for me though...  

As said before, its designed to give those in lobbies something more to fight for to get that podium and for it to feel more special. I kinda expected lower lobbied people to love it and high lobbied to get confused by it.

Just a few things to clarify on this. TORA competitor fields are now massive! You have qualifying and people are missing out on the lobby higher by the shortest of differences. But then again again the guy behind is the shortest difference behind also. The racing is very close.

So
Lobby B victor would only beat the guy who was last in lobby A
Was he sandbagging? Probably not unless he knew he would not score any higher than last place lobby A legit. Then again if that's his pace, whats to say he would have won lobby B by default? That's only the next place down, and with the field so close, it would have still been a battle!

It will not effect people detrimentally, only unless they have a habit of coming last in every lobby they are in, and if that's the case there is no guarantee that he would be default winner of the lobby below anyways.

I have had confirmation that my xbox wont be delivered til tomorrow so for a bit of fun, shall I see how such a rule would have affected a finished championship?

I do not understand this rule.

I do not see why a lower lobby needs more points for fighting for a podium.

The fight for the podium (lobby win) should be rewarding enough to do you best.

If you do this then A lobby should be getting the same points +4 +2 +1 for a podium.

And if you want to be a lobby higher, practice more....

On a different note Simon, i've always been kind of bemused by the fact point increments are only one, even between first, second and third overall, (eg. lobby A).

Could we not have it so that there is more of an incentive to gain that extra place when high up overall, because there have been times when i've been in that position, and instead of really pushing to try and get the extra points, i've just thought to myself "it's only one extra point, why bother pushing to hunt the person down and risk something?".

That would definitely help to to disprove some of the myths currently circulating  

I think that rule is great on paper, but (trying to find an appropriate word) in practice. Guys that fight hard to qualify into A lobby but have "an unfortunate accident" get doubly shafted by not getting enough points as B lobby.

Also, I saw this pop up today and I was wondering if you guys gave it any thought.

^ I seem to recall someone using an e-Cig livery, but I am unsure which series or if it was ultimately allowed.
