Re: Tips for my first TORA race
Have fun.
Read the rules thoroughly & make sure you understand how the meeting will work. Ensure that your car is mechanically legal & abides by all livery rules. Try keep your nose clean, I know some incidents are unavoidable, but try to stay out of trouble. If someone has pissed you off, don't react. If it's a racing incident, submit a stewards inquiry. If it's about something that someone said, PM either a staff member (red) or CT member (blue).
And again, have fun

Re: Tips for my first TORA race
Id like to add along with the above.
Race craft is key, Clean laps count for(qualifying). Fallow the rules and have fun.
Times posted in series sections are a good place to start for a general idea of how fast some drivers are. Test and practice then do it again
Best of luck
Keep it clean.

Re: Tips for my first TORA race
just drive clean, dont worry about speed, if your running last every race you will get more respect if you keep it clean than trying to race faster guys and taking them out.
speed will come eventually but first it shoudl be about finishing races clean

Make sure to try driving with the racing line option turned on to help you with braking points.

Re: Tips for my first TORA race
I'd advise you do lap after lap do get consistent in the car slow or fast regardless, then try a few races with some guys (drop me an fr and i'll come race with you) and go from there, race craft is key to not barge anybody out the way and understand how big your car is and where you can get away with overtaking.

Re: Tips for my first TORA race
^^ Yes, jump into naffcar for example, not much can go wrong at those speeds. If you want a tune I have pretty much every car on file.
Re: Tips for my first TORA race
As the race coordinator for the NAFFCar Cup Series, I will let you know that the series was developed precisely for new-to-TORA racers.
Come have some serious fun this Friday mate!
