TORA visits Codemasters!

Next Wednesday, I'll be taking a trip to Codemasters HQ to talk about and try out the upcoming game, GRID Autosport.

I'll be taking some photos, asking questions, etc etc, and I'll post my findings here Smile

If you guys have any questions you'd like me to ask, regarding the game, Codemasters, or anything else (on topic!), post it below and I'll be sure to ask!

Have fun folks! I mind the guys over at UKOG got a chance to do a similar test with DIRT, and the original GRID, way back when. They had a great time looking around the studios.

What should we expect to see from the use of the pitlanes on most of the real circuits? in the first GRID They were blocked, and saved all the attention to racing wheel to wheel for 3-5 laps each time, but with what I can see, from the new photographs and trailers, to be top-line sportscars and an "Endurance" format in one corner of the game, will that pitlane be opened to allow for pitstops? It is something that, I think, should be in the game as it is an essential part of endurance racing.

What about the cockpit view?
Since there I saw some low quality in game screenshots of cockpits.

And can you get more info on the HQ/HD pack for PC?

Just tell them to get it right. Grid 2 was a huge let down after the greatness of the original grid, and grid itself was a letdown compared to the previous racing titles but out.

Will they strip out the gash faux tracks and include more real life ones?

Will they recreate more real world series and strip out some of the crap ones?

Ask them if they will fix the way the cars handle.  Instead of sliding through the corners I would like for them to stick to the road.

Also ask them if it is easier to spin out/Dump AI Drivers who piss you off
