FM5 Formula Ford Challenge Cup - Gauging Interest
I haven't submitted any TCR requests as yet and possibly someone else may have already had this idea but with the recent release of the Formula Ford DLC I was wondering if anyone had thought about holding a Formula Ford championship? If not, is anyone interested? Possibly have a one off race event to test numbers and interest before deciding on an actual full blown season championship.
I've had a good few laps with the Formula Ford on FM5 and its real fun, setup properly with a good tune it's a really grippy little car, obviously giving it some juice into a bend gets the rear to step out. Would definitely make for a fun championship later in the year when the nights are cold and there's not much on tele. Anyway, just gauging interest.

Edit: MX-5 is the Spec Cup Car. Would still like to see either a Formula Ford Championship or Indy Lights Series

I wouldn't be overly surprised to see a full Formula Ford series here sometime soon.

Very interested if done properly and suitable time. No wings, sport tires, etc. Could be a very very fun racing series

Just run it stock, no tuning, that would make for a cracking series

Hhhmmmmm, drove this the the other day and its a sod to control, for me anyway but still might be fun series.
Was thinking of an indylights series as they are a little easier to drive.

I would be interested if a Indy Lights series doesn't pop up. Also depends on the time, since I am US based... Wanted to do MX-5's, but can't get off work at 2 just to go race!
