looking to do some friendly racing
Hey guys have been getting some practice in without using the assists like most of your series rules say. Am slowly getting better at this and was wondering if many of you do practice sessions or off season racing that I could jumps into. May be off the pace but would be good to see how you guys run.

Re: looking to do some friendly racing
I try to keep my Friday TCR races low key, fun and friendly. There's only a couple rounds of Trans Am left, but there will be something announced to follow it soon.
As far as assists, for most series I do allow for TCS, unless the cars are so anemic that TCS isn't at all useful (sub 200 HP FWD for example)

Yeah the traction control is pretty useful. I just can't get enough control of the throttle with the pad. Hoping to get a wheel set up soon that may give me a bit of control. And cheers solar flar3 ill add you when I am next on

Re: looking to do some friendly racing
Weasel: expect a new season of Spec Cup to be announced soon. Whether or not assists are allowed is TBA, but I doubt you'd need or want to use any assists anyway.
And Spec Cup is considered to be a "starter" series for new members, a great place to check and improve your skills in preparation for more serious series.

That was the series I was looking to compete in. I can race without them have been practicing without. I just make the odd misjudgement of braking distance lol.
