Hey guys, was just tipped off to this site not long ago and overall seems right up my alley of fun racing on FM4 (some of the old GT Planet guys may recognize my name as that guy that had the drifting pink Volvo wagon back when GT5 first came about). Unfortunately my PS3 and my G27 became separated due to odd circumstances so I've been getting my racing fix on Forza 4 for the past several months.

At the moment I'm on injured leave due to some even more odd circumstances. I definitely look forward to getting into some of the FM4 series (as soon as I saw classic sports cars and GT racing series in one place I joined this site immediately haha), in the meantime I'll extend an invitation to all those interested in a little quick pick-up racing with a custom Le Mans multi-class type lobby I've developed. Obviously it's all for fun and there's no overall championship, just pop in for a few races if you see me online, just a little something to do when you have an itch to drive those GT cars and there isn't a scheduled race going on at the moment.

Basically I tried to address what I saw as the shortcomings of the Le Mans hopper. With a little creativity I was able to setup the GT2 and GT3 cars (minus the Audi R8 LMS and the BMW Z3 due to the restrictions) in the same class together as well as group the GT1 and post-'99 GTS cars in a single group (so the C5.R can finally race against the Saleen S7R in a multi-class lobby with GT2/GT3 and LMP cars whizzing around).
I'll even out the classes with AI drivers (hard difficulty), throw sim damage and collisions always on into the mix, and let metal bits fly! To keep first corner pileups to a minimum I set a 1 second delay between every car taking off to space them out just enough off the line, after that you're at the mercy of psychotic prototypes and demolition derby GT cars.
To keep things on equal terms, upgrades are not allowed however tuning setups for stock cars (as they all have fully-adjustable everything already for the most part). It keeps the cars "the way they would have been raced" and it makes it so the AI are in equivalent cars and not merely obstacles in the road. Anyways, as I said I'm currently stuck at home with a leg injury so if I'm online I'm always up for hosting a lobby and past that I'm excited to get my feet wet in some of the series TORA has to offer!
