How does it feel?

Is it what you expected?

How does it compare to what you've come from racing on?

Any advice you can give those yet to try?

How does it feel?
It feels in my opinion better then expected, but something I don't know what it is(maybe you guys) is that when I'm on a straight line and then just turn hard left and then imidiately right the cars just won't steer anymore and then I'm hitting the wall. At chikanes on Le Mans for example this is weird because you can't make a clean turn without going out of the normal racing line. I don't know what I can do as much as possible so if you guys know what it is and have tips and tricks let me know!Smile Would be appreciated! (BTW m playing with a controller)

Is it what you expected?
Yes! Haha it just looks great and some details are just as good as a expected. Ofcourse at Le Mans you will see some brands where they need some license like Rolex and Michelin and many more but still it looks great!

How does it compare to what you've come from racing on?
It's in more ways different as my most played game Forza 4. But still in it's own  way PC is perfect racing game, but what I said in the first question, that's something to work on I think.  Neutral

Any advice you can give those yet to try?

Just not expect the same racing feeling with the controller as Forza series. But still in it's own way PC is awesome to give it a try and making your own opinion! Smile

Looks fantastic, tons of content, but the hardest game I've ever played! Until I can find a good set up for the controller and get used to it, I haven't managed a lap yet without spinning out or going off. Very steep learning curve and a few glitches (headset one makes it unbearable) but they will sort it. But yeah, as said above, it feels absolutely nothing like forza in any way.

From what I've heard the XB1 version with the controller is far too twitchy. I found this on GTPlanet, hopefully someone could make good use out of it.

I believe I just hit the nail on the head, with controller settings!

Steering deadzone = 18
steering sensitivty = 5
Throttle deadzone = 0
Throttle sensitivity = 30
Brake deadzone = 14
Brake sensitivity = 15
Clutch deadzone = 0
Clutch sensitivity = 45
Speed sensitivity = 75
Control filtering sensitivity = 50
Force feedback = 90

Give it a shot, to me its just about perfect.

It feels pretty good imo. I changed the steering sensi to 0 and for me indeed it feels pretty well. With this setup you can start and then make it with small changes your own what you like the best:) Approve haha!

Controller Filtering Sensitivity: 50% (you should try different values to see what you like best). A higher value means smoother (less twitchy) steering but it can cause input lag.
Steering Deadzone: 5-10% (it depends on how worn your left stick is, 5% seems fine to me)
Steering Sensitivity: 0
Speed Sensitivity: 60-65% (this setting allows for small corrections, it basically makes the wheel less sensitive, especially on the straights)

Build 1001 (launch). These settings should work well with most gamepads and are a good ground for further tweaking based on your personal preference. I am using an XBOX 360 controller. I'm also showing you a lap using the Mclaren MP4-12C GT3 at Monza so you can see how it behaves using these settings (all assists disabled). The video was recorded in Build 871.

The steering isn't twitchy, you can approach both slow and fast corners without any issues.

Has anyone playied it on PC yet?
Does it feel like GTR2? If so I'll live with that.

It's much better on a wheel setup but even then it's not without its own problems, defo feel wheel and pedal setup is the way to go.
