Massively confused, the X/Y axis on the screenshots provided is nowhere near the same as when I try to reproduce it on the sides of my car, the layer groups are left either too high up or aligned too far left for some reason. Any idea what is causing this? Am I goofing up somewhere along the line? scratch

I've had the same issue, I believe that the screenshots are with the initial livery (before #board became optional) I've just tried to make the livery as close to the actual images of the car as opposed to the Axis

The problem is that he got the numbers from when he originally painted the car. If you reapply them as vinyl groups after, the numbers are completely off. Mark, can you reapply the vinyls to the car and get us some updated coordinates?

Let's see how much closer these coordinates appear on the cars:

"Left A": x=-5.50 y=-70.50
"Left B": x=19.50 y=-31.00
"Nose": x=0.00 y=6.50
"RoofStr": x=84.00 y=0.00
"Right A": x=-5.50 y=-52.50
"Right B": x=-19.00 y=-34.00
"Rear A": x=39.50 y=-6.50

edit: Left A and Right A coordinates are layer groups w/o the Numberbox

Quick question, are tinted windows allowed or no?

No tinted windows, I believe. It makes it too difficult to see if the roll cage is installed.

Plus makes it hard for the following car to see what's going on ahead if using hood or in car cam.

I never understood that, I can always see through it to see the cage especially since they updated the tint a few games ago to not even be dark. Oh well, though. I'd assume no coloured windows in general then also?

Sorry, how do you change the colours of the star and stripes? They're locked aren't they?

Select the vinyl on the car, and while you're moving it, press X and you'll be able to change the color.

Where over the rear wheels? Is it OK to obscure the star logo on the rear arches? Do we have to use a specific size?

I'm using the X axis of 250 on the Left (-250 on the right side) for the location.

I have a logo made and shared

Is this mandatory, or is the four sonic decals already placed under the headlights and sides of the car okay?

Mandatory. If it helps, make the sonic tools logo quite large and that should help you locate it on the rear aero foil end plates. Once you see it on the end plates simply reduce the logo back down to the required size. Hope that helps 😉

LOL! I was attempting to apply the decal from the Wing perspective, rather than the Left and Right sides of the car, as it should be! All is well now. Check it out!

If anyone is interested in applying this special decal to your Caymans for the Glen round, go to my storefront 'Grifkylian'.  It will be up tomorrow. In 1956, a permanent racing circuit was built. Prior to that, Watkins Glen used a lot of actual streets for races. 60 Years to celebrate the official track.

And yessir! Laughing I'll be crew-chiefing for a buddy racing in Honda Challenge and doing media stuff for another guy in GTS.
