I didn't get in my lobby. I got the invite and I was in for a second and then I ended up in a NASCAR lobby.

How much aero are you running at the rear?

1:28.9. Personally, I'm running full aero to compensate for my poor tuning abilities lol

1:28s for me. Struggling to learn the circuit still.

Having gone there many time in reallife, I never understood the popularity of the LBGP. All one gets to see for the price of admission is one rather bland corner or another. That is why I never bought a ticket... but free tix, for a race, I'll go. I guess that sort of disinterest is showing in my lack of time spent on this track.

I just want a good fun clean race.. The reason I don't like this track is, it is not forgiving. Over a long race I will need to pit a lot more than once for damages... And yes Mikey J, it is a hard track to watch, I've only been to 2 races here. First time we bought tickets, 2nd time we were given tickets... There was no next time haha

Does anyone have a tune for limerock they are willing to share? I'm having a hard time keeping the car settled. Any help is much appreciated!

Don't have a tune fully set yet, but my advice is to keep the suspension softer. We'll all be very close on the track and curb usage will definitely happen time and time again. Moderate aero works well for me as well.

Thanks for the advice. It seems to have helped a bit. Now I just need to work on tuning the driver.

Pole will probably be a low-53 second lap. I got to a 53.9 but need to clean up entrance to Big Bend (turn 1+2) where the car is dancing around too much... remember the left-hander is a 'throw-away' corner. Stay tight to the inner curbing. Just focus on getting a good exit onto the back straight.

Thanks! I finally got my tune set up to turn some consistent laps. I'm nowhere near the high 53's (55.7 so far), but probably just limited by my lack of skill at this point. I think I'll just follow some 53-54 second rivals around to see if I can pick up some pointers. If you don't mind me asking, what sort of downforce are you running? Thanks!

I actually don't have much downforce in the back (less than 130).  I have 80 in the front I believe.  The car isn't really using the rear aero except in the final turn onto the front straight (in my opinion).  As you know, LRP is all about momentum, so having a car that has good turn in and good corner exit grip is vital.  There's no sense in having massive rear downforce when you simply aren't going fast enough to use it haha. It's more about mechanical grip. The front of my car is very soft shock/spring wise, while the rear has faster rebound.  The car trail brakes very well into the left hander but I need to be quick/smooth with inputs or else it gets loose.  You do need to kick the throttle a few times to get it to fully rotate through there but that's what I'm working on now.

Qualifying will be critical at this track because you can only "easily" pass on the straights with some ballsy moves elsewhere. I raised up my car a bit so it takes the curbs and doesnt bottom out.  On my 53.9 lap, I used ALL of the track, tracking out with 2 wheels on the outer curbs in the final turn.  For reference, my exit speed coming out of the final turn is north of 110 mph, and my entrance to the uphill is 94-95ish.

I'm doing mid 53s every lap with nearly full aero. Might try taking some off, but I don't think it'll be very beneficial on such a short track.
