TASCAR Season 5 - The Remaining Oval Races

After the Daytona 500 and DeweyTee Memorial 400, and considering the length and time it takes to complete the Full distance for the Oval races, which were never done before in previous seasons, It seems to not be too UK-friendly. So, as the poll option show, I'd like to know your opinions on how to approach the remaining 3 races, so they can likely appeal to All drivers. You can use the Poll as well as post your opinions in this thread

Shorten it by around two stints, cutting around 25-40% off? 6 stints was alot to do at Miami. 3 or 4 would've been ample, by those estimates that's almost halving the distance which could've also been ok at Daytona if we had 3 stints not 5.

for perspective, the "Current" remaining Oval rounds:
Hit The Lights 400 @ Daytona - 160 laps or 4 stints of 41 (40 racing laps)
Brickyard 400 @ Indianapolis - 160 laps or 4 stints of 41 (40 racing laps)
Florida 300 @ Homestead-Miami - 200 laps or 5 stints of 41 laps (40 racing)

Your suggestion Mr Driv3, would make the 2nd Daytona race & The Brickyard into 200 milers, and the Final race at Homestead into 3 stints of 33 racing laps (34 in the 3rd stint to cover 100 racing laps evenly)

Two stints of 50 would be just as well as 3 of 33/34.

Reverting to previous seasons' method on the ovals doesn't sound like a bad idea at all. 2 stints of 50 laps.

Yup I like the sound of two stints of 50 - whilst we haven't got the ability to run 200+ straight laps, the full race distance doesn't work. It's just 5 qualifying races for a 6th stint finale IMO.

The poll results show that majority want to shorten the Oval events. As posted above in this thread, Does everyone agree to shorten the 3 remaining Oval races to 2 stints of 50 laps?

Yes 2 Stints would be better!

I feel 2 stints isn't long enough. On all the ovals the laps click by very quickly. Reducing the races to 3 stints of 50 laps on each track would shorten the races but still remain slightly longer (15-20 minutes at most) than the road course events and remain consistent with actual NASCAR events.

so, so far we have 3 voicing for 2 stints of 50 laps, one 1 voicing for 3 stints of 50 laps. I'll keep this thread open until the race at COTA concludes to then decide which route to take for the final 3 Oval races.

I prefer 3 stints 2 is way to short

ok, So its 3 for 2 stint of 50 laps, and 3 for 3 stints of 50 laps.

For a track like Homestead, I'd be inclined to run 3 of 50, as the laps are roughly 30.5 seconds each.

How about 2 of 50 for Indy and Daytona, 3 of 50 for Homestead then That'd work!

Make Daytona 3 and the rest 2 then we have a deal

COTA weekend is now behind us, So I've made the decision after the discussion here, to make the 2nd Daytona race & Brickyard race 2 stints of 50 laps, and the final race at Homestead, 3 stints of 50. But with lobby settings as they are, the 1st lap of each stint is going to be the grid/position setting pace lap.
