Q1 will be 8pm UK time - Wednesday
Q2 will be 8pm US time - Wednesday
Q3 will be 7pm UK time - Sunday
Once there is a race thread you can post what qualifying round you would like to be in.

There was supposed to have been, but only one person was on at Q1 time, and said he'd rather wait for Q3. So we set up a lobby for Q2, and nobody was online or accepted invites.

Odd... I wonder if the fact that there is no race thread for this round has anything to do with it? I was going to wait to post my Q time in there but realized no race thread was coming.Flyin Mikey J wrote:ACG NO MERCY wrote:Was there qualifying today for nurb gp?

I assume it probably has something to do with Matt being at Le Mans

Don't know what went wrong with this round of TORA BGT. Drivers and teams who registered two days ago still not added to series registration but thankfully Motorhead and Rabidus stepped in and made sure everyone, including those not yet added to series registration or quali sheets, still got to set a quali time and race. Kudos to you guys doing what you did tonight and multitasking. 👍🏻

I assume it has to do with staff being away at Le Mans. Regardless, great job getting things done Motorhead and Rabidus!

We did it.
With this being on Le Mans weekend, a lot of people were busy, many were there, etc, and so anyone with short term plans or scenarios arising immediately would have made the lower numbers even more bare, but we did it.

AND THIS IS WHY IF SERIES ORGANIZERS ARE GOING TO BE MIA FOR A RACE IT WOULD BE EXTREMELY HELPFUL TO HAVE BACKUPS IN PLACE AT LEAST 1 WEEK IN ADVANCE BUT ALL IN ALL I THINK IT WENT ALRIGHT WITH WHAT WE HAD TO WORK WITH

Another great race in lobby A GT3. It's a shame, because the cars/tracks/drivers alike make this my favorite series on TORA to date, but the races are just too spread out to stay motivated and/or focused.
If this is run again on Forza 7, I'd like to suggest making this either a weekly or bi-weekly series so that it doesn't feel so drawn out.

I actually really like it the way it is. Its nice to have ample time to set the car up with how busy my life is. I feel like its perfect the way it is.F4H ForceOne wrote:Another great race in lobby A GT3. I agree with this, especially if you run both British GT and ASCC. You can focus two weeks so tuning for one series, then the following two weeks for the other. I just wish I could have started BGT since week 1, but have been busy on all those weekends.

Re: British GT eSports Championship: General Chat
You'll find the calendar was squashed this year because we covered ourselves in case Forza decided to release earlier in the year. I'm sure most of the community along with us anticipated that FM7 was in the making but no one knew when.
We didn't want to have a situation developing where a bastion series is running whilst FM7 is already ongoing. But now we can properly plan for FM7 over a whole year.

Re: British GT eSports Championship: General Chat
I had cool race yesterday. However due to unexpected host loss and emergency host appearance we not only started around 45 min later but we also had wrongly set brackets. Due to that at first race cars with no handicap suffered power reduction making their race rather irrelevant.
I can host lobbies. I have strong Internet. I am driving in two big series for almost a year. With a little help I can set lobby for Q and race easy. I have said it already in looking for hosts topic but I feel reminding it here is good for the community.

Cheers Jan much appreciated
We'll remember that for next time.
As for my race - well race-pace was nearly 2s faster than qualy which wasn't so good! Two seconds and some brilliant battling with NO MERCY in particular was great and the Bentley suits my style though I forgot to lose the TCS so the car was spluttering on slow corners and not getting the power down. Managed it though and had a lot of fun.
The banter was - as ever in my lobbies seemingly - excellent! Thanks to all the guys who took part.
I've just watched back the coverage YMTV did for A lobby and it's absolutely fantastic! I think we're in for a real treat for the rest of the season.

Can we take a moment and talk about cutting? Hopefully cutting will be strictly enforced at Spa

We will definitely clarify that when the race thread is put up. That's my jurisdiction and I don't want to be a busy steward after that race
