TORA TCF TASCAR Season 7 - Round 3 - DeweyTee Memorial

Welcome to round two of TORA TCF TASCAR Season 7, the DeweyTee Memorial 250 from Homestead-Miami Speedway!

Please note: for this race, ALL competitors MUST run the Stock tune provided on the JGROVES1996 sharefront. This is to prevent a game glitch that happened at Daytona. The race will take place on Saturday, March 17th at 9PM UK / 5PM Eastern. (Please can a US racer confirm that the clocks aren't changing again! Haha!) Qualifying will be a 10 minute session. Once the time expires, drivers will be able to complete their current lap before coming to a stop at turn one.

The race will comprise of 150 laps, plus an additional formation lap to get us set for the rolling start. Rolling start will still be row-by-row. If you see a jump starter, let us know and ideally record it.

Pace speed will be 60 mph. Cautions may be called due to incidents involving two or more cars.

Your time conversion is correct (until BST on 25 MAR).

So if I'm reading this right (and I believe I am), the races now start at 5:00 p.m. EDT instead of 4:00 p.m. EDT? If that's the case, that's a relief because now I'll be able to actually make qualifying attempts for the races, instead of having to miss qualifying (and possibly the race) because of working on Saturdays .

Yeah okay so it is 5PM EDT, but as John Galt says, it will only be for this race until it goes back to 4PM EDT

Thanks for reminding me! Drivers are to run the apron through turns one and two and rejoin on the backstraight. If you go above the line accidentally, go back below and continue until the backstraight.


Also, general reminder for everybody. Remember that the pits will close whenever a caution is called. There will be a determined lap under caution when you can pit.

Also I've just been informed that the pit-entry glitch from forza 6 is still a thing in forza 7. Therefore, there will be a maximum pit entry speed of 70 mph

I forsee this causing lots of crashes if the party stops working.

I also foresee at least a couple people entering the pits too quickly and getting screwed over by said glitch.

I am glad I could take part in the DeweyTee Memorial 250.  Sucked at qualifying in 24th, finished 29th overall thanks to a spin early.  Was in lobby B the whole time.  Not bad for first time, but I am mad at myself for the mistakes I made.  Could've done better, but now I have the itch.  Can't wait for Sonoma!!!  Thank you to all the competitors! Today was a blast!
