I love the second fake trailer, you should see how many people wrote angry comments on his page.. haha

I don't get the whole C-130 obsession thing- they're barely every used and when they are, only at night

I heard they have a Famas in this game- I guarantee everyone will start using it like the P90 in 4 and MP40 in WaW

aaaaaaand where exactly do you get the Prestige ed. in the UK?
I'm assuming you're not getting it from the States coz if yes then it surely won't work on the PAL 360?

most COD titles are 1st-person, right? ...then you wont see me picking this up. Razz im not comfortable getting that 'tunnel vision' feel when im playing games. heck, in FM1/2, i use the 'Far Chase' camera angle so i can keep an eye on the whole car.

the only military game ive played is/was Warhawk on the PS3. i havent played since the Jet-pack DLC, but i like the 3rd-person aspect.

Yeh, from the states.

Im pre-ordering the game from england as well, and selling the american version on ebay.

Would make life 1Mio times easier if the versions were the same :s

Re: COD:MW 2

I don't see the point in Prestige Edition, mainly because first I believe the NVG's are not real Night Vison Goggle. Since 1st gen NVG's cost more then the PE.

BrnoutJerzey wrote:I heard they have a Famas in this game- I guarantee everyone will start using it like the P90 in 4 and MP40 in WaW
The Famas is confrimed for the game, mainly because it has showen up in the single player E3 demo. But still I can't seeing it being used by everyone.

Mainly because Assault Rifles mainly only work very well at mid to long range distances, while people would use SMG's and shotguns at short range. However if I had to pick one Assault Rifle people might use a lot in MW2 Multiplayer, then it would be either of the following:

Bushmaster ACR, L85A2 "A small weapon was used by mistake for another weapon.", Tar 21, Steyr AUG A3, M16, AK47, HK416 or SCAR-H

Other then that, this is what I will be mainly use in MW2 for the multiplayer mode:

Assault Rifle: HK416, MK.14 Mod 0 EBR, FN FAL or L85A2 (With ACOG) "Main - Good for burst via to provide cover and go on the assault and good for sniping."

SMG: MP5

LMG: Steyr AUG or HK MG4

Shotgun: Franchi SPAS-12

Sniper: M-110

Note: I will be mainly playing as Assault Rifle Class or Sniper class. But in most of the small maps, I will be switching to CQB "SMG" class.

And finally

This is where I saw the weapon list:

http://www.modernwarfare247.com/singleplayer/weapons

While it may say single player weapons, all of them will most likely be in the multiplayer mode.

Ok, I decided to cancel, cant be bothered with the whole region lock thing. Would lose too much money buying two games then selling off the region locked one

Sad day for Marchie Sad

If you ever wanted Night Vision Googles, then expect to pay between £300-£800 for the first generation ones. But on the whole I think you did the right thing canceling it, because you would of needed to pay extra tax.

Other then that, I pre-ordered the Hardened Edition a couple weeks back.

Well... the only way I thought which is probs what you did too.... buy the UK hardened ed. the US prestige, put the UK in the Prestige box, keep that and resell the hardened on ebay for those eejits who DO have a US 360 over here. It probs would sell but yeah ALOT of effort for not much reward.

Well I have said in a previous post, that 1st gen NVG's cost between £300 - £800. Which means the ones with PE will be like either black and white display or a bit of red.

that's where I disagree- Submachineguns have no value on the modern battlefield- They are generally pistol caliber weapons, so their range is limited. After WWII, they figured that most engagements were at about 300 yards: Assault rifle territory

the only thing a SMG has going for it is size, which is not an issue in CoD

I'll be using

assault- SA80 (MK14 EBR is a close second)
shotgun- Spas-12
LMG- M240
SMG- UMP40 if they have weapon damage and accuracy right, the Kriss super V would definitely be unfair, lol I've seen it on a show before, and it's insanely accurate

Okay, so this launches tonight at midnight.

And I am officially excited about it, as I FINALLY completed the first one on veteran a few nights ago after being stuck for over a year on the fight in the nuclear bunker.

I am launching it myself at work tonight, and am expecting to be there for ages with the demand for it!
