in GT, earning money is much MUCH harder than it is in Forza. in GT4, on day 180 or so, you would find the 'ultra-rare' Stealth cars in the used car lots, but i had nowhere near 1/3rd of what was needed. and you pretty much have to re-run challenges multiple times to get enough to get faster cars to compete. i hope that got looked at for GT5, though i doubt it with the way it is in GT5:Prologue

I went through a similar phase and came to the conclusion that GT4 was better than forza

I found if you raced with similar cars in GT4, the racing was really fun and close, I just got spoiled buy the xbox 360 controller

GT is just a much more solid game, it looks more realistic and it has such a slick interface. And when we are talking console racing games (and I stress the word game), Gran Turismo rules.

But I don't want a Playstation 3, and Forza 3 is still a very good game.

If I want a sim with good handling i'll play RACE Pro or play the new Sportscar Legends 1967 mod for GPL (which is simply amazing)

One thing i'd like to have back on Forza 4 is the choice of tyre compound like we had on forza 2 because that was really cool stratergy wise with the more durable Firestone tyres and the quicker and less durable Avon's that was awesome

I'd like realistic smoke so that i can do this.....

Yep defo need better effects exhaust flames, tyre smoke, rain, snow varation in track temprature lots more needs to be done 2 ajust how cars handle during a race!!

I can't see FM4, being released until 2012 or 2013. Then again, I think they should release FM4 on the next Xbox.

Definately. Infact just having tyres that don't last longer than a tank of fuel would be a step in the right direction.

I have to say I really did like the choice of tyres. And realistic fuel consumption and tyre wear that is seperate from car damage would be very nice to bring back.

It is a shame, that there won't be a setting to put the faster drivers in slower cars.

a. turn off all assists
b. put in practice before a race
c. learn racing lines

p.s. the above is not directed at anybody, and Pebb, your message was only quoted as a direct defence for faster drivers, nothing personal.
