Yeah Oscar, I've already been assigned to a team. Just waiting for week 13 to end so I can get my B license.  

Also gonna be doing the GT3 series and the truck series if I can get me SR up in time.

looking at the interest ill be ask staff for a TCr section for iRacing, Im having to wait till May to start iRacing again as kids birthday's are coming so the league could kick of during the summer.

I am DEFIETLY planning to run GT3 after week 13 if i can bump my SR up in time. I recently bought the BMW GT3.

I just got an offer through for 3 for 1 month being an ex-subscriber. I really want to get back into the game - and buy the Z4 GT3 and Circuit of the Americas - but I don't have a TV I can hook my PC up to at the moment so I can use my wheel. My offer expires on the 30th May but I am very tempted if I can get a decent set up going.

The Z4 is an awesome addition. I can't get enough of it. Ran in a hosted session around Long Beach today in that car. Lost track of time, when I finally looked at the clock it was 2 and a half hour later.   

How does it compare to the Ruf and McLaren? I'm not getting it yet as I can't race it yet. Going to be doing the Grand Touring Cup after week 13.

The Z4 feels like it has an almost infinite amount of grip in the corners. Especially on exit. But the McLaren is definitely the best for top speed out of the 3. I think we'll have a better idea of what their strengths and weaknesses will be around 2 weeks into Season 2.

This is only my personal opinion but I would say it would be best for everyone if you entered teams in existing leagues rather than attempting to start your own. There are leagues out there that are way above what you could hope to achieve yourselves, have a look HERE for just one of them.

Not been particularly up to speed with BSR recently but I saw some talk of having to pay to enter the championship now for prizes? Also do you have to sign up before the Season starts and commit fully to it, or can you sign up half way through and only compete where you can?

Can't make the Carrera Cup and I've heard the BTCC driving standards aren't great. Besides £15 to enter the BTCC. Now I know that is for a prize but I spent last season struggling to even qualify because of the amount of people entered. To pay £15 and then not get to race would be a waste.

Make sure you read the rules properly   

The £15 entry fee is only if you are entering as a member of one of the teams. If you want to enter as an independent there is no charge.......and subsequently no prize. Independents will only be invited to race in the main race nights when spaces exist (should be the majority of races) but I believe they are also running a separate Independents race night as well.

That's not my main reason. The Kia doesn't agree with me so I'm not that interested in taking part in their series.

Fair enough - I was only clarifying the points you raised, there was no mention of your dislike of the Kia in your post.........it's a feeling many others hold   

Must admit the Kia can be a pig but it's amazing what a decent set-up can do.

Can we race Legends? I was killer in them

I personally didn't do much road racing as I bought iRacing simply to play Nascar on a modern sim, which I enjoyed a lot. Definitely interested in getting the Z4 GT3 if I get a sub again.

iRacing is an interesting one but the model of paying additionally for so much of the content is one that seems to be negaively received from the console community. (That and you need a pretty decent rig to run it with any beauty)
I do like the detail in the circuits and vehicles though and I do like that it has (or has had) quite a bit of real driver following.
Not sure about the Kia though, some of the BTCC paints I've seen don't quite suit it as much as the proper cars. But then I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to my touring cars

I agree that the fact that you have to have a decent rig and pay for moat of the content sucks, but all the stuff you can do on iRacing is a thing of beauty. I eventually will have iRacing but that is a long ways in the future for me.

Can't get it, too expensive and don't have the hardware

A TORA iRacing league is going to happen, thats my personal opinion.
