i was wondering what is the best capture cards that are cheap. Something around £50-£100.

Anyone got any ideas?

Pinnacle with DVC Dazzle. Comes with capture card and Pinnacle studio 12 plus, its all for around $90

you can get it from the pinnacle website. Thats how i got mine.

With the great quality videos being produced by the community, what capture cards do people use? I'm looking for something that can ideally capture HD from the 360/PS3, though of course cost is a consideration.

Are consoles subject to the same encryption as DVD/Blu-Ray players through HDMI?

There was one that Duncan found that I was looking at getting. If I was on my pc at home I could have given you the link. Basically it was a standalone unit and you plugged the component xbox cable sinto the box and it went by USB to the computer. Looked easy and simple and was around £100 iirc.
