he is very good at monte he won in gp2, plus theres been one or two races were, in the rain, hes be unstopable. im sure lotus will be looking at having the Senna name back in a gold and black car.

No, lets see it happen to shut up the people who think there will be magic in the combination of a relative to the 3 time world champion, who's talent is DEFINATELY NOT Hereditory, (unless something sick happened), and a team that is pretending to be the one his uncle had complete control over before they fell apart.

Renault need "A Finisher" Heidfeld screams reliability but doesnt scream anything else worth noticing. Would not trust hulkenberg to finish opening a packet of crisps.

Heidfeld would be my choice of the Three. Give him the car and he will always bring it home and usually in a good position.

After that i'd choose Hulkenberg over Senna. He's got experience in that area of the pack after being at Williams and has proven his racecraft, unlike Senna who (not his fault) spent his season getting lapped and driving off the circuit to do it (dumb move in itself TBH)

Thats my Two Cents.

Senna is way too unproven, i hope he doesnt get it because of his name and the potential advertising opportunities it provides...

I'm not blaming HRT for senna's lack of talent either.

Exactly! I blame them for not being able to give him something to show off in. And because we havnt seen what he can do in a real F1 car i dont think he should get the Renault seat over a more experienced and proven driver in this scenario. if it was Petrov lying in hospital instead of Kubica id say give him a shot... But Renault need a leader, not Two rookie potential liabilities....

HRT may have looked like they had no clue what they were doing, but so would anyone New to the sport.

The crunch-blind lot at FOTA have a lot to answer for, not just over their opposite-to-what -mosely-wanted ways, but also their attitudes towards the Fernandez-Lotus, Virgin and HRT teams. In not wanting a two-teir series, they ended up with a two tier series, It was inevitable.

If your going to want to bring cost cutting rules into F1, it had to be done gradually, just like in 1987 when the non-turbo lot tootled around at the back, but then were given a better bite of the cherry in 1988, before the turbos completely disappeared in 89.

In the three years of that happening, a March team ended up being at the front of the field, a Dallara based Scuderia Italia ended up on the podium, it may have provided rubbish at times, but a sport needs its underdogs. F1 needs underdogs.
