Game should have gone into administration last month, but were saved by an emergency loan. I'd imagine if they do go into admin, Gamestop might buy them out, as they've been looking for a way into the UK for a while. But I think they'll kill off the Gamestation brand at least and shut a lot of stores.

I've even had my old district manager emailing me to find out of there are any jobs in Tesco, so that should tell you how things are going there.

Hello for those who still venture these parts of the woods,

The upcoming Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut DLC is coming to the Xboxlive marketplace on Tuesday the 26th in the US. It's going to be around 1.9 gigs and will cost NOTHING.

one of many sources

And off-topic, Something else of greater importance is coming out the same day, which will cost some MS points

I had to buy a new hard drive today just for these two reasons. Cheers

When a sinister conspiracy targets Commander Shepard, you and your team must uncover the truth, through battles and intrigue that range from the glamour of the Citadel’s Wards to the top-secret Council Archives. Uncover the truth and fight alongside your squad – as well as the cast from the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, including Urdnot Wrex!

When the adventure is over, reconnect with your favorite characters from the Mass Effect Trilogy, try your luck at the Citadel’s Silver Coast Casino, blow off steam in the Armax Combat Arena, or explore and furnish Shepard’s own living quarters on the Citadel. With unique content and cinematics featuring your friends and romance interests in the Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect 3: Citadel offers one final chance to see the characters you have known for years and rekindle romances

They say that parting is such sweet sorrow, but as we near the end of the Mass Effect 3 adventure, we’re giving fans a fitting send-off in the form of two final pieces of DLC.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel – Single Player DLC

With unique content and cinematics featuring your friends and romance interests in the Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect 3: Citadel offers one final chance to see the characters you have known for years and rekindle romances.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel will release worldwide on March 5th on Xbox 360, PC and PS3 (on March 6th on PS3 in Europe). Price: $14.99, 1200MS points and 1200 BW points.

Mass Effect 3: Reckoning – Multiplayer DLC

Prepare for the Reckoning! Newfound allies join the multiplayer war for survival in Mass Effect 3: Reckoning. The Geth Juggernaut, Female Turian Raptor, Talon Mercenary, Alliance Infiltration Unit, and more take up arms to stop the Reaper threat. Smash your enemies with the Biotic Hammer as you lay waste to the battlefield as the Krogan Warlord.

Wield 7 new weapons for multiplayer, including the Geth Spitfire Assault Rifle, Venom Shotgun, Lancer Assault Rifle, and amplify your arsenal with new equipment and weapon mods featuring the Geth Scanner and Assault Rifle Omni-blade.

Mass Effect 3: Reckoning launches at no additional cost worldwide on February 26th on Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 (February 27th on PlayStation 3 in Europe).

Twitch TV Live Stream Event

Join us on Monday, February 25th at 9:30am PST/6:30pm CET for a Mass Effect 3: Reckoning live stream on Twitch TV! Members from the Mass Effect dev team will be on hand to demo the new multiplayer content and answer your questions about the DLC. We hope to see you there!

ME2 was the best overall I think... Followed closely by ME3 (the story was incredible until the infamously poor ending, but the multiplayer made up for that Razz )

ME2>ME1>ME3.

2 has great character development, 1 had the best villain and story. 3 not so much. I'd go into detail but there's too much wrong with it aha.

Probably one of the best trilogy's out there, 3 was poor in comparison to the rest though, 2 is still my favorite game on the 360 though. 1 is one of the best too.

ME1 was the best cause of the story, ME2 was very good when re-playing it recently (good characters, silly final boss, random story that didn't really fit in well imo) and ME3 overall was fantastic. Yes, the ending wasn't the best - extended cut helped and I enjoyed it - but the full lead up to it was amazing. Yeah, it was a bit "The Reapers are attacking, quick - let's leave Earth and go make friends!" but it was still great. Playing it all back to back over the last month in one has been a great experience.

Thing is it could have been so much more, as a standalone game its great, but there's so much wrong with it in my and many others opinion, I love aspects of it, like Tuchunka, Rannoch, even Mars has a great vibe but then there's [Censored] like the Rachni being involved no matter what, and the rubbish auto dialogue, and Cerberus going from about 200-300 members to a whole freaking army, TIM losing what made him awesome to become a stupid fricken retard, and the Collector base decision making no difference at all. The whole end sequence is stupid too, they can shut down the relays with the Citadel, but don't, they leave the backdoor on, Harby actually lands, fails to kill Shep, then just lets him/her waltz up to the Citadel and then it all goes wrong. The reapers become retards basically.
There's a lot of good, and a whole lot of bad too. Plus BW lied real bad pre release, that's still my big problem with 3.

Still, the series is one of the best out there, all 3 games have awesome music, and all have their great moments. I hope this final DLC is worthy of the series.

Better put Omega on sale too, I want it, but not at that price for what it is.

Re: Mass Effect 3

Agreed, Cerberus was always the lurking pro-human small group in ME1 with amazing side-missions, then you team up with them in ME2 for a good reason - plus they brought you back. Then they have an army worthy of the Turians in ME3. In a way, it worked, but Cerberus wasn't needed in such a way. If TIM had always been there in the background working on stuff, and then you met him indoctrinated and bad ass - as he was in the concept art and such - then it might have been the whole Seren is Reaper omg moment.

I still love it, and playing it back again has been great. The polished everything for ME3 so it feels right, but the story was de-railed because of the leak and if they had went with the original dark energy story that had been building up quietly since ME1 it would have been amazing.
