Portal 2

Possibly the best use of a "special day" to advertise a game ever!

FACT: Women love diamonds for their wide range of industrial applications

Got to love the sense of humour that Valve have Very Happy

Co-op mode looks really good.

I'm still waiting for HL2: Episode 3 though..

The word epic is thrown about a bit nowadays, it's 100% accurate in this case though...fantastic game. I can remember my eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw it asking for 400 MB of hard drive space.

We had a Counterstrike map that was a replica of our office at NCsoft! Not too disturbing - honest! Laughing

I have counterstrike and team fortress original, but cant use them as its an erm... copy of questionable legality.

I really need to get the orange box, and this Smile That will give me months, perhaps even years of gameplay!

There was a short lived internet pub/cafe near my college. Every week we had a four hour gap to fill so basically the whole class was in there playing Counterstrike.

I have the lot on Steam, Day of Defeat Source, Counterstrike Source, etc. Just reinstalled Half-Life 1 Source to play through again.

Plus, my missus got me The Orange Box Xbox 360 for my Xmas, so if there's a game of something being arranged, give me a shout!

now.....the portal 2 thread has seemed to drop dead once the game came out...

....either the game is that good that nobody has come on here to say how crap it is...

...which means the game isnt rubbish.....

...its valve for god sakes its not going to be rubbish...

...but it also appears nobody else is playing it but me when I see your names on xbox live...

...hmmm.

I've played it solidly and exclusively since I opened it on Saturday afternoon. Its amazing but sadly I think only a handful of people on this board are interested in it. I love it but feel its a lot easier than the first one. I've pretty much finished the single player in less than 8 hours worth of play.

I suck at this game lol, I dont think I would have got to chapter 8 without a walkthrough, however I will want to start from the beginning without it.

As for the co-operation levels, including you crisis, anyone up for a bout?
