If any of you members are in Scotland or northern parts of Canada (perhaps even Northern England), you may just be able to see the Northern Lights tonight and tomorow! All thanks to the largest CME event in four years:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-12493980

A CME is basically a ''solar storm'' where charged particles are sent hurtling through space towards Earth. In lamans terms these charged particles come into contact with the Earths magnetic field in the North and South, the particles are seen to glow. CME's can also take out electrical grids and communication, both on the ground and orbital satelites..

So yeah, enjoy the Northern Lights if you can, you may not be able to see them from your own house untill the next massive CME!
