Looks like an old arcade game, but the CoT bodyshape cars with the Paramount Mountain Logo on the hood/bonnet of your car, easily give the game away as a half arsed and unimpressive attempt at fleecing microsoft points.

The repeating loop of almost-like-the-music-from-the-film music as you choose your car and one of 10 Tracks, half of them with proper names like Las Vegas and Richmond, but not their actual oval layouts.

Your race engineer (whether it's robert duval or a soundalike) is slightly motivational, however the hap-hazard oversteery handling isnt. Nascars dont turn like this, hence the Arcade portion of this game.

Two of the names I recognise from the film, Tom Cruise's unimaginitive monicker from the film and Rusty Wheeler, they were at the front of the field, until I hit them.

Finished the race around a very ponoco looking Las Vegas layout in 2nd place.

Clearly an arcade game, not so clear on its brilliance due to all the crap that gets in the way.
