Battlefield 1943 - 600 MS Pts

its a long shot, but I hoped that posting that would make enough people buy it.

600 points guys! C'mon!

I've had it for ages, just one more achievement to get and I think that is the 100 games one, can't be far away from getting it. Think I am pretty handy at it too, so count me in.

On Battlefield memories, most of mine are from the PC version, particularly the Modern Combat mod for BF1942. I remember me and a mate playing online, running down a street with very high walls to get to a plaza where all the fighting was happening. As we approached the corner to the plaza, a T-72 pulled across the junction, stopped and turned towards us. We were caught in the open, nowhere to go, and with nothing to fight back with, so we opened fire with our rifles, which just pinged off it.

It was straight out of Saving Private Ryan. The tank swung to target us, we pepper it with rifle fire, and then it blows up. My mate was on a LAN in the same room as me, and we just kinda looked at each other puzzled for a second, as there was no way we could have killed it with rifles. Then a Harrier jumpjet screams past through the junction about three seconds later. That guy will never know how he saved our wee digital versions, but it was truly an awesome gaming moment for me.

I've got it and I'd be up for a game except I won't be free midweek for another fortnight.

I have a friend who'd probably be up for joining us.

Had some more thought about this, and thought I should make it a little more clear of each players role, as well as adding some new rules, new bits will be underlined.

-Four different roles for each team: Driver, Gunner, Mechanic, Spotter
Driver - Responsible for driving the car and finding new cars
Gunner - Drivers co-pilot, responsible for destroying opposing cars
Mechanic - Responsible for repairing their car, each Driver/Gunner pairing has their own Mechanic. Mechanics may also deliver a new car to the Driver/Gunner pairing if they have to bail out before their car is destroyed.
Spotter - Responsible for capturing bases to secure spare cars, Driver/Gunner pairings may only use cars of their team (USA or Japan) if they have to find a new car. They may use any car they wish if getting a spare car from the neutral pit-area. Also responsible for setting up ambushes on enemy cars.
