Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Hi guys,

I know this is a bit cheeky but I am getting desperate here. I used to have a copy of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for the XBOX but I sold it years ago in a time of need. I'm now trying to get hold of it but it's surprisingly costly considering its such an old game.

Being a cheap b*stard I don't really want to shell out £10 - £15 for a game that I wont be using regularly and I'm having no luck finding an English PAL torrent. It needs to be the English PAL version for my previous save to work.

What I'm basically looking for is does anyone here have either an original copy or a back up (copied) copy that they could possibly send to me so I can rip it and then send back? I know it's a bit cheeky but you can rest assured if you are able to help that your game will be looked after to the highest standard and all I literally need to do is stick it in my XBOX for 5 minutes until it's ripped and then send it right back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

zOMG! Guess who's going to London to play test SWTOR on Tuesday?!

Here's a clue - someone else is going to need to organise the NGTC race!

So, I got about 2hrs hands on time with SWTOR last night, and a few drinks with the staff afterwards to get the real skinny on the game and I have to say I'm VERY impressed.

SWTOR is easily the biggest game I've ever seen. Imagine the biggest thing you possibly can, then multiply it by at least five!

The quest pdf document alone is 2500 pages, and we're not talking about the scripts here (the whole game is voice-overed, including in "localised" language versions i.e. German, French, Spanish etc), just the description of each quest.

Some quotes from the devs:

This game contains more content than all previous Bioware games combined (no joke - it's huge).

It's possible to play the game from start to "finish" with one class, restart with another and never see the same content from your first play through (basically every class has it's own story).

There is no grinding (i.e. no hunting critters in the woods to get to the level you need to be for your next quest). You'll only be given quests you can actually DO.

You earn XP for everything, so if you want to just play the space game, fine, just PvP, fine, etc. You even get "rest XP" during your logged-off time.

The majority of the BIG announcements are due at E3 this year.

You'll be able to get hands on in the UK at the GAME show and Eurgamer Expo this summer.

The game will be released in 2011. It will not clash with any other Bioware release (so not November/December when Mass Effect 3 is released).

Oh, did I mention the game is AMAZING? And HUGE?

Some enemies will need MANY players to take down. Some will be in "dungeons/instances" and others will be in the main game world.

Oh the other tidbit I forgot about that they let slip was about player Titles earned for certain achievements, such as Darth, Captain, etc. Apparently that hadn't been announced but someone answered a question about it and the other staff were like ooooookkkkkk so I guess that cat's outta the bag then!

You wouldn't believe how much has been spent on this game. EA are backing it to the hilt.

The one mis-step Bioware made (Dragon Age 2) was pretty much EA's fault; pushing what was originally going to be an expansion for DA1 into being a stand-alone release with only an 18 month development cycle. This was actually a GOOD thing for Bioware, because it gave the Bioware CEO the opportunity to go to EA and say "never again". Their policy going forwards is "we will only release quality (i.e. finished and polished) products when WE say they're ready" akin to Blizzard's policy. EA said "OK".
