Re: PC Gaming
I was a Question
Is a clutch really needed for games such as iRacing/Rfactor/Simraceway? Its just that I dont have much money left for a wheel for my PC and all the £££ ones have clutch pedal setups. I could afford a cheaper wheel but it'll only have a 2 pedal setup.

Re: PC Gaming
I never use my clutch, it's too slow compared to flappy paddles when racing. Clutch is ok for a bit of fun.
Re: PC Gaming
Well I use my clutch for historic races as it feels better Group C and Historic GT and OLD TCC
But modern forumla no no no
No need for clutch on pc gaming racing modern cars etc

I run the Xbox wireless so its unaffected (thankfully!)
Does it matter which router I get as the Xbox is wireless/PC is Wired???

Re: PC Gaming
hmmmm should still be able to connect whats its your pc that has no ethernet connection std network card?
Re: PC Gaming
Think its a standard card yeah its nothing fancy that i added. The xbox and laptop dont work when I wire them up to the router so im sure Its the ports that have been damaged from use in the past.

Re: PC Gaming

"NVidia GeForce 7800 / ATI Radeon X1800 or above graphics adapter recommended"
And i have a overclocked GeForce 560 Ti I downloaded a demo of Rfactor 1 and its like a bad ps2 game!

Re: PC Gaming
A 560 ti should easily handle the games your throwing at it, it's only a year and a half old which is newer than the 7800. I have a 9800 in my 5 year old computer. rfactor does look like a PS2 game mind.
Re: PC Gaming
well thats stopped me worrying thank you Richy!. Ill get iRacing today just to see how it is yet I only have a pad to play it just now.

Re: PC Gaming
I really want to get iRacing again bt there are no deals going for existing members and I don't want to lose my rank on it. Plus I won't have much time this month. I'll wait until Donnington and Montreal are released.
Re: PC Gaming
If anyone has Steam there is a free teaser of Race room online now.Havent tried it yet but if its as good as other Sim Bin games it will be good
