Doesn't most of our tax money go to the Scottish Government anyway? I don't think we pay much in the way of direct taxes to Westminster.

But then again, I'm just 17 and don't really deal with taxes...

I thought that your tax goes to to Scottish Government and your nation insurance goes to the UK, or its the other way about.....correct me if i'm wrong, but I don't believe all the money I pay in tax stays in Scotland.

Strathclyde Police are on standby just now, and I believe they may also be used south of the border.. Which could be costly for us.

The thing with all riots, you have the initial protests by the people who actually care, then you get the looters who use the rioting as an excuse to bag some goods. Its pure looters/nutters at the moment, I know the kinds of people.

Luckily those kinds of people in Glasgow probably don't know/care about whats going on in England, and will go about their usual weekday night business of drinking heavily in parks and starting trouble with other gangs. You know.. ''the usual''..

I think any riot happening here in Exmouth would probably only involve some grannies being 'jolly well cross' that their tea rooms had closed.
Only dodgy thing occuring this end of the world was a body being found in the centre of Exeter, but it's not riot related. We're too boring/middle class in the South West
