Name is Raidervine...everyone just calls me Raider, 34 years old from the California. I've been racing for years but only recently built a rig and bought a serious wheel (Fanatec GT2). Currently racing at www.world-racers.com (forgive the plug, trying to show experience) which is mainly for the fun, friendship and racing. Looking for a environment that fun yet competitive and hopefully with full fields. Saw the TORA book and will read through it so I know what is expected of me. So far just reading what i've read you seem to be fairly laid back. Look forward to racing with you guys.

Also looking forward to F1 2011 and Forza 4!! Very Happy

XBL and PS3 tags: RAIDERVINE

I see you guys mainly run on the 360 is that correct? What's everyone using wheels or controllers?

Huge racing fan too everything from Nascar to MotoGP...

Hey there!

I use the Microsoft Wheel. Does the job. I wouldn't mind having the Fanatec though Razz

Hey man, welcome to TORA!

I have got a wheel but its about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. It's crap. Hoping to get the Thrustmaster 458 Wheel!

No force feedback on that wheel...looks like your a Ferrari fan so I can see your interest in it. Might want to look at the Madcatz force feedback wheel. Decently priced at $130 bucks. I know that the Fanatec is a stretch for a lot of people, so far i'm on my second wheel, the first was a dud, the second so far is incredible. No issues at all...

I'm not too bothered about force feedback. I've used a Logitech one and you cannot steer the car at all. But for £68, its good for what it does!

Hello mate and welcome to TORA. cheers

I mainly use the controller. I tried using the Microsoft wireless steering wheel but I got fed up with the soft pedals. Tried all sorts of tricks to make it better but nothings worked. Razz
I know that most people use the triggers on the controller to acclerate and brake, but I use the right analogue stick instead. Lets hope I still can on Forza 4 'cause I'm not a big fan of using the triggers in a racing game. But it's bloddy awesome to use in Battlefield, or if you prefer Call Of Duty.
