Re: Connection Speeds

its a well known fact that the UK Internet is one of the slowest in Europe and possibly in the developed world and we get ripped off massively.
i pay around £35 for that speed on BT and before i had Virgin and in the evening i was getting about 0.5mb due to 'more ppl being online'

Re: Connection Speeds
Well it's not like I lag bomb people so unless that starts happening we have no problems
Quite happy with the performance of the interwebs for me atm. Since I changed the stock router TT gave me for my own N Router I've not had any drop out problems

Re: Connection Speeds
That's good, I remember when you used to have really bad problems where you couldn't connect or anything. Glad it's got better though! I just don't like TalkTalk, my nan had it and it just kept cutting out every 10 minutes!

Re: Connection Speeds
IIRC, packet loss is the cause of lag. 0% seems like a pretty decent figure.
And 'A' can only be good, unless this particular speed test website is run by a North London school.

I'd put that down to a cruel act of God. There really is no other explanation.
