Remember when Blimey (The bit of the GTR2 dev team that split away from Simbin) had a ''Ferrari Project'' on their website? Well, this has turned up, by a dev team called ''Big Ben''...

Well both gif animations in the post are of circuits we've seen in Shift 2 oddly enough. So goodness knows what's going on there.
The quality looks impressive though. Hope that will be as good on console ....and NOTHING to do with EA yahoo!

Well, it's probably based off the Shift/CARS engine, which was probably in it's early stages back in the days of Blimey. Perhaps ''Ferrari Project'' was used to develop the engine, which got the attention of EA who made them put this on hold till their Shift contract was done?

Also, Big Ben happens to be a distributer, not a developer, so this is probably SMS's work. Big Ben distributed the previous ''Ferrari Challenge'' games.

So yes! We may actually be getting something decent with the Shift/CARS engine on console, yay!
