Yeh, ironic that you should say that Hainesy because we have a similar thread going in the staff section, although ours has more references to the "impenetrable VM force field surrounding T10"!!!

As Duncan said, thanks for your vote of confidence. Any help clubbing T10 into submission getting T10 to publicise what we do here would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Hainsey, we really appreciate that we have got some really good guys racing here just now and are thrilled to have so much support across all our series. As Chris said we've tried directly contacting T10 many times and gotten no where with it. What would be extremely helpful for us just now would be to visit our series threads on FM.net and post about them and get them some attention. They are some of the most viewed threads, but I feel that sometimes our 'seriousness' puts people off from posting or joining a brand new series without knowing anyone here.

Hi guys, i have to re-iterate the good words said about, it really does make for cracking racing and experience.

One idea i have (not sure if you could implement it the same as you have the TORA Race Number), is to have a kind of career summary, something along the lines of this, although about overall things not individual lobbies, and minus the fastest laps, unless of course they're recorded of course:

Well, many people do like putting them I their signature space which eventually fills up the pages too much. Maybe I can put a TORA Wins and such under the names like you suggested to keep thing tidier, however I wouldn't want it getting too big with poles/fastest laps etc

I'd love to record fastes laps but it would be so hard to keep on top of.

Do you guys realize just how fast you are?

After racing only TORA events for the past few weeks, with the rest of my FM4 time spent on the GameFAQS Hotlap Challenges or test and tune for TORA races, I hit the FM4 public race lobbies for a bit yesterday... and dominated. Even the C lobby in TCC was ten times harder than the public lobbies.

TORA may have killed Forza race lobbies for me Cool

Suggestion for the races of TORA GT season 9.

I think bringing back the reverse finishing positions for the 2nd race would be better then the current "just restart". As it is now the only reason to have such a short race length is for the replays. By reversing the grid you get more exciting and more varying results then you do currently.

I always thought it just made the second race more fun as well, as an element of luck was kinda needed.

+1 for that
one for me that would be really cool, after a race, interviews... interview the winner, maybe all the pdoium and someone who had a bad race (ie bad start or crash) just to make it even better than it is now, and put that on tora tv, with replays of the events

On the main forum page, could you have it so that where the Endurance Championship is, that it previews the sub-forums on the main page so that you can go straight to the Le Mans 24 hours for example, as it's a tad annoying going through two menus just to get to the one forum?

I have no idea whats in the works for TORA TV coverage of the GT9 season but think it would be a good idea to start the show with the pole lap from Q1 from the in-car view with commentary just like BBC or Sky do for F1. Idea

I think it would give the pole sitter a bit of limelight that he deserves for setting an awesome time plus give the rest of us mere mortals clues into how he/she is doing it. afro

lol! So that suggestion worked (was probably already planned), how about another one. Have you (staff) ever thought about running a career-like championship where you stay in the same lobby for each season against the same drivers with relegation and promotion at the end of each season? Obviously for the first season you would have to have a race-off or you would have to seed everyone to get everyone in their correct "league" to begin with. Then newcomers would start in the bottom "league" and have to make their way up season by season. Premier league could use LMP1's, Division 2 go with LMP2's and so on down the leagues.

I like this, could also work in a way that manufacturers 'make offers' to drivers and teams, instead of the drivers just deciding what car they want?

I suspect that would need to be managed by the Staff, picking teams to drivers in sort of the same way it happens in RL.

Also sounds more complicated once typed out than in my head!

Would also encourage people to turn up for every race given that every point is valuable even for the drivers near the bottom of each "league" to ensure they don't get relegated.

This sounds somewhat familiar:
Duke of Bruno wrote:...
Going back to some of the earlier discussions on having a multi-tiered series to split up the slower and faster drivers, one way to decide who drives in which level is by separating team owners and team drivers. Team owners choose the drivers for their team, but, the team owners themselves cannot race at the same level as the team that they own. Example: a driver in Tier 3 can own a car and choose the drivers for Tier 1; one of those drivers in Tier 1 can own a car and choose the drivers for Tier 2; and one of those drivers in Tier 2 can own a car and choose the drivers for Tier 3. People not racing can own a team in any Tier. However this idea does not allow for any privateer teams.
