Somebody (not me) just leaked an image of the collector's edition (which will be mine very soon) which is due to be announced at San Diego Comic Con this week, amongst other "big things".

Ah good man. I played the GW2 Alpha about 3 years ago while I was at NCsoft - it was good!

The prices will be announced soon. I expect the monthly sub to be £8-10 per month and the regular box to be about £30. The CE will be at least double that.

Alright thanks buddy And I used to play Guild Wars a lot, had about over 1000 hours of gameplay in like a 4 year span, and I loved it man! But my friend and I did a farming bot to make millions on a holiday event, and my account got banned -___- lmao it was fun while it lasted!

Bad news for your wallet Richy - it's listed at $150 pre-order price on Amazon US, so I wouldn't be surprised if that translated to approx £100 in the UK.

Surprising how many changes have been made since the Alpha test/media event I attended a while back. Liking this a lot. Not sure if I'm liking enough to not smart at the £60 shelf price yet though....that's before the £10 per month sub!

That's still not to say I won't buy it, just that I will moan about how expensive it is!

There isn't and won't be for months (if ever) - it's the same for all new MMOs. The game has 30days play with it, but I knew it was good from the Alpha and Beta tests I did, so signed up for quarterly billing.

I will run out my 30 days and then see how I want to continue my subs. I need to get back online and get some PvP going otherwise I will be paying a sub each month to play a single player game.
