Hey guys,
So,
Since Christmas is around the corner and I love racing too, I'm thinking of getting a CSR Standard Wheel but I've heard that it can give a fair amount of trouble e.g. Locks up, weird internal noises etc.
If anyone could give some feedback it would be appreciated... Smile

The more expensive CSR if you can afford it would be worth it however insidesimracing will get you the low down on a decent wheel Smile

The standard CSR works fine

Got my standard CSR ($249.95) Monday. I haven't changed any settingd from default and it works perfectly fine. Be aware it REALLY has some force feedback! I had previously used a Microsoft wheel and FF was definitely not as strong. This wheel will give you a workout but I love it. A few days of getting used to it and it has helped my lap times. I may still be last but I can't blame it on the wheel. Over here it ships from Cali and it took ten long days to get to north Florida (UPS Ground).

One important note...

just as in any of their products avoid Mad Catz at all costs

Thanks for the heads up guys! I think I'll get the CSR XL Value Pack with the elite pedals. If the wheel has a few little problems a trusty screwdriver'll fix it. From what you guys said, it sounds brilliant! I would get the Elite only its too expensive for me and we dont know if it'll work on the next xbox...
Thanks for the feedback... Smile
P.S I know what you mean about those MadCatz Flyin Mikey J(my cousin has one... Dog awful wheel)
