The right good British moan thread

Post by nickyf1 on Sun 9 Dec 2012 - 23:55

Scene kids on the train.

Obviously too scene to sit down on the seats.

Obviously too scene to stand anywhere other than right in front of the doors.

Obviously too scene to acknowledge that people need to get on the train.

Obviously too scene to understand: ''excuse me''

I hate scene kids on the train. I really do.

Oh, and escalator etiquette.. There's about ten signs that say 'please stand on the right', yet you decide to stand on the left so you can have a wee blether with your friend, right in the middle of the morning rush in Central station...

move! I've got another bloody train to transfer to!

That felt good. Razz

Things that irritate me:

Teenagers who watch 'The Big Bang Theory' & say how 'geeky' they are & that they 'love science'.

Teenagers who get cars & driving lessons & insurance & phone contracts for free without having a job when I have to work my ass off every week for less than half of that.

'The X Factor'

Kids on my school bus who shout at me for pushing past them to sit down when they crowd around the front of the bus

GAME. Who regularly delay my orders whilst everyone else who orders from there get it a day early.

Jason Plato

Lee Mack. Seriously, he isn't funny - at all.

The Welsh Accent

The Weather.

The good things we have?: Kate Middleton & Football. In that order.

I love big bang theory. But I can say I feel geeky because I honestly know about half the stuff they are talking about, and the other half I have a working grasp of knowledge to know what they are vaguely talking about.

People choosing not to work, getting more money than me (a trainee engineer) from the government, and still moaning that they can't afford a holiday!

Old people driving at 30mph in a 60 limit.

Youths thinking they're the greatest drivers ever because they've added a spoiler and removed the silencer.

Great idea to release our stresses and tentions. Also, a lot cheaper than talking to a councillor.

I hate this current government. They haven't got the faintest idea of how to run this country properly and everytime they announce their budget, it's always the poor that's end up picking up the pieces instead of increasing taxes on the rich. That should be the way to cut the defecit and reduce our debts.

I hate the Jobcentre. They don't help me one tiny bit when it comes to helping me getting back into work or guiding me in which direction to go in terms of a career. That's one of many reasons why so many people (including myself) are out of work. I work my ass off, especially the volunteering group I'm with. And sometimes, it doesn't seem worth it.

I hate crowds in shopping centres, especially at christmas time. Why does everyone have to be so arrogant and rude? Barging their way past you and not giving a [Censored]! All it takes for people is to say one word "sorry" but even that is one word too many.

I hate Sebastian Vettel, especially when he sticks his one finger up after either winning a grand prix or securing pole position. I wanna take a pair of loppers and chop that finger off. At times, he can be pretty sarky on the team radio, especially when an incident happens and he blames the other driver. The only reason why he's won three world championships is because of Adrian Newey's brains to design a great F1 car.

I'm glad I'm not the only person, but I think Jason Plato is a twit.

I hate it when people moan about the weather. Us Brits are never satisfied when it comes to this. We're world champions at moaning about the Weather. We moan when it's sunny. We moan when it's peeing it down. We moan when it's 6ft of snow. For heaven's sake, just get on with life and cope otherwise you ain't gonna get on.

I think that's all for now! lol!

The Coca Cola Christmas Advert. "You know it's Christmas when that advert comes on" - What? I mean, would Christmas not happen unless Coca Cola air that advert? Like there would be a mad panic if the advert wasn't on one year.
Jason Plato
Dog walkers who like to leave there dogs sh!t all over the football pitch. Children play there for God sake!
Religious nuts. It's everyone's belief & right to worship a religion. I, however, am not interested in the slightest. Don't force your views upon me.
Cleggy the tea boy.
Charity. Sounds very harsh, & some charities are for a really good cause. But my £2 a month isn't gonna solve Africa's problems. And I couldn't give a flying F*** about a tiger.
PPI Insurance advert. Sorry Gladstone Brookes, but your adverts drive me mad.
Confused.com is more irritating than GoCompare now.
Leeds
My Chemistry Teacher
Oh, you have 'swag' do you? We'll see how that pays the bills in 10 years then?
Honey Boo Boo (ok, she is quite funny)
Caravans

Drunk Chavs that hang around where I work
Fame & attention Whores
Chopper pilots on Battlefield 3
Students, just act normal ffs!
Starbucks & Nando's (both are way overrated)
Instagram
Facebook (twitter, however, is ok)
Red Bull/Monster
Sergio Perez

There will be more...

Ah yes, adverts. That's why we pay for the privileged British Broadcasting Corporation Razz

Starbucks and Nando's... I wouldn't say their overrated, but expensive, yes. Personally I don't give two damns about the cost, if I want good tasting chicken or coffee then I'll go to wherever.

What's wrong with Facebook? Sure, there's some people on their who are a pain in the butt, but that's when a handy feature called "Remove Friend" comes in. Facebook is literally an ultra-personal blog with an instant messenger and turd games. Twitter however, I dislike. I can understand the point of it in terms of multimedia, advertising, keeping up to date with news/gossip/celebs whatever, but when people post pictures of their meals with their dumbass hashtags #YOLO bullship, and all that gubbins, it drives me up the wall. Hashtags are the worst thing to have happened in the last two years...

Which brings me to something else I hate. My girlfriend used to work in Republic. Luckily for me, I got to see all the great ship they had to offer. Which included this bullship:

http://www.republic.co.uk/brands/mens/fabric/fabric-believe-sweatshirt-53512/
http://www.republic.co.uk/brands/mens/fabric/fabric-blood-sweatshirt-53496/
http://www.republic.co.uk/brands/mens/fabric/fabric-90s-hype-sweater-53650/

WHAT THE FUNK IS THIS SHIP?! Seriously, people BUY this ship to WEAR it and make themselves look like utter, utter KNOBHEADS. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Suspect

Facebook is where people put pictures of their dinner & other useless stuff. Although twitter would be so much better without hashtags, it's still easier to keep up with all things motorsport than Facebook.

In the end we are all gormless zombies, tapping away & staring at our screens, blissfully unaware of pointless & agonising deaths we will inevitably succumb to.

Petscans... After you have one then you must wait 1-2 weeks for your doctors appointment wondering if the cancer is still in remission.

Drivers in the fast lane of the Interstate or expressway running the same exact speed in the "fast" lane as the car they're trying to pass and hold up a line behind them that will go faster if you get the hell out of the way!

Other people on their jetski cutting CLOSe in front of your path. Mine will go 60 on a GPS, but the brakes aren't worth a crap.

Getting a flu shot that makes you sick to prevent you from getting sick.

Facebook alphabetising everyone by first name and not surname, as it should be, just like a library, FaceBOOK remember, BOOK, as in READ a BOOK.

HMV alphabetising artists by first name and not surname, thanks to the derps on facebook, I bet Libraries will be next.

More to come...

Drivers who abuse cyclists.

People who think 'Road Tax' means cyclists can't be on the road. It's vehicle tax I and many others pay for carbon emissions etc. I don't even think Road tax exists anymore.

The Government.

People who have no desire to work that seem better off than I am.

People who can't drive in the snow.

Idiots that don't know the highway code.

People who buy a million and one things on ebay and have me deliver it.

And finally, Essex County Council. Who decide not to grit icy roads. And then have fat cats in a suit stand next to a huge stock pile saying "We're prepared"
