Re: TORA Spec Miata - Schedule and Rules
Time to start thinking about qualifying rules and lobby set-ups. Whether top 15-16 race will race only or if the lobby a will have x drivers and lobby b will 8+.

Re: TORA Spec Miata - Schedule and Rules
What will the lobby settings for qualifying and race be? In particular, damage and collisions?
And how many laps for qualifying?
And how many laps for qualifying?
Re: TORA Spec Miata - Schedule and Rules
So essentially, the points leader could get bumped to lobby B if there is more than 16 drivers.
Just to be clear, Qually sets lobbies if more than 16. However, race 1 grid is still random and race 2 is reverse grid from race 1 finish?
Then for round 2 qually or no qually, race 1 is lined up to points, points leader in the back. And race 2 inverted like I said before?
Just making sure i got it lol

Re: TORA Spec Miata - Schedule and Rules
Points leader could be in B lobby if he fails to qualify for A, correct.
But Qualifying will set the line ups for Rd1 if more than 16 show up.

Re: TORA Spec Miata - Schedule and Rules
Was going to enter but with no racing/brake line I'd be screwed, hope this is not implemented in other series.

Re: TORA Spec Miata - Schedule and Rules
Hainesy I know your feeling, but these cars it's not that bad. I too, am I diehard user of Brake line but these cars are easy, fun to drive and brakes very well.
Grab the tune, run some laps with the line on and then w/o.

Re: TORA Spec Miata - Schedule and Rules
dont start harping on that again Chaddy. i still use the 'Braking Only' line. just too many corners for me to memorize for different cars.

Not to start a war or anything, but some people (like myself) have difficulty memorizing braking points. We need to use that line to help guide us where our braking point is.

Re: TORA Spec Miata - Schedule and Rules
Because of the reduced visibility you have in videogames, the line helps to lessen this problem. In a real car you can easily spot brake markers etc but its a lot harder to see them in games.FranchittiFan wrote:Im still really confused why drivers use a braking line.

Re: TORA Spec Miata - Schedule and Rules
I use the line to be as accurate and fast as possible in the shortest time.
When its off i find that although longer to learn a track i eventually go faster than with.
I feel like i can push that braking marker i pick out much more than a blurry red line.
Its not confusing at all :p

Re: TORA Spec Miata - Schedule and Rules
Because its a game, and you can't get the depth you need and the use of your perifele vision to know your braking points. On top of that its a guide, to keep guys from taking you out. Be thankful that's it's allowed when it matters and stop critizing the use of.
