Just joining... Been playing racing games for years (since GT2), and about 9 months ago I had an accident in the real world, nearly losing a leg, and since have been in the looooong healing process. Shortly after when I got to come home I got myself a 360 and FM4 and have been playing pretty much nonstop since it's about all I can do for now. After joining the FM online community I came across TORA on the FM forums, and I gotta say, it'll take some learning, but it sounds right up my alley.

Aside from requesting a number, introducing myself, and reading the TORA racing rules/guidelines/handbook, what else should I be aware of? Looking forward to a chance to race in a real organization!

Welcome to TORA!

There is not much else to be aware of. As long as you also read the "Rules" thread for each series that you sign up for you should be set to race.
