I am not quite sure which you are referring to, Real World combination of DTM or JGTC or in TORA.

The real world one has been discussed, and the rules between the two series are getting very close, but I am not sure when/if it will ever happen.

In TORA, we ran Super GT a few months back, it was pretty good but had a relatively low car count.

Adrian and I have Rules/Car list all ready to go. We invested a lot of time and effort into it as well. Things like Car lists, number boxes, decals, and different starting rules were all planned so they mimic Super GT.

We tried several times to establish a championship, but it never caught on due to weird timing, low car counts and other series taking up space on the calender...yet the few people who entered each race said they had a fantastic time and the cars were well balanced.

So I and a few other people interested in running a Super GT style series had been pushing hard for a 1000KM of suzuka endurance race in the TEC this season, but that got filtered into a "community choice" endurance race...hopefully suzuka 1000KM with super GT cars will be the choice, but i'm not holding my breath.

Ironically, the DTM/GT500 cars had been combined in our series even before they were going to merger the two actual racing series together.

We have GT3 and GT4 cars racing together in endurance races.
We have GT cars and Prototypes racing together in endurance races.
We have had Touring cars, Aussie V8 Supercars, DTM, NASCAR, Rally

Yet we have never had a true TORA sanctioned multiclass super GT racing series, just a few sporadic community meetings.

I believe it is time.
