New to TORA
Hello and and how do you do to all at TORA,
I'm a member of the moderately successful UK based PNUK club. There I met STR Warspite (some of you may or may not know him), who invited/introduced me to TORA to be his team mate for the Touring Car Championship. I agreed, and so here I am.
Forza career has been short. I first played Forza 3, and am now hooked. I normally race in the cycled production lobbies, since I'm not that great at tuning. When I'm not there I'm with the PNUK folk, who are helping me out with my tuning skills... the rest is just experimentation.
Already grabbed myself a number - 498
Gamertag - Greenfly750
Age - Twenty-something
Country - Lancashire, England
Experience - Race most nights, cycled production, public & private lobbies, mainly classes D to S, though do venture into the R classes occasionally. I love drifting, though aren't great at it, and generally hooning around the benchmark tracks creating smoke.
Expectations - I was invited to join a Touring Car team, though I'll have a look around and see what else floats my boat.
How did you hear about TORA? - I had read about it thanks to FM.net, but I'm here mainly thanks to another club member.
Just tested my connection 5 minutes ago too.

Re: New to TORA
How about that, another PNUK guy on TORA. Shame I missed you in the Clio Cup, but maybe I'll have the chance to see you on the track somewhere here. Good luck in your upcoming TCC series. I have no doubt Warspite will get your car sorted.

Re: New to TORA
Uh oh, Warspite brought you here... as his teammate? One more car in front of me no doubt, as I have raced with him a bit, and most likely he brought you here because you have some skills.
Welcome to TORA!

Re: New to TORA
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
Hey. Yeah, I joined PNUK the week after the Clio's started, and to be honest, they're not the most entertaining car either. I hear you did very well though. Look forward to meeting you too.
Oh no. I'm not as quick as Warspite, I normally end up just trying to keep up with him. You're probably safe.

Re: New to TORA
Welcome Dan
Good to see you on here and taking a look around, TORA is a very friendly environment with all kinds of skill-levels, no matter what times your pulling, there will always be a lobby full of people within your own range that will produce some fine and fast racing.
I am nowhere near as quick as most of the people here, but I do my best to get the car and track knowledge up to spec as much as possible
As Rogue said, if you need help with anything feel free to ask, there's always someone around to make sure you know what to do and so you feel comfortable whether that be registering for an event, or being informed of how things run come race night, someone will always be available to answer any questions you have.
Anyways enough from me, Welcome to TORA and can't wait for the first round of the TCC so we can put these machines to the test.
