Couldn't place it in key locations? Like Tetre Rouge, the Chicanes, Mulsanne corner, and possibly the Porsche Curves?

The thing is, I know its a public road and such but those guardrails down the mulsanne are so thin and flimsy looking - and was unfortunately proven early in the race.

maybe sro and fia will take action but its the white lines / rumble strip causing the issues here not barriers, could be paint compound when they painted lines not armco

Same thing could have happened in Tetre Rouge should someone have had a tyre failure, steering failure, or stuck throttle.

All these long rebuild-the-barrier safety car periods are making me sleepy.
As for the cost of Tecpro barriers, replacing all this armco can't be cheap either.

Don't worry, I fell asleep earlier myself. All I managed to miss was 30 minutes of safety car, the explosion of a car into flames (apparently), and another safety car.

The Rebellion lost it coming out of the 2nd Mulsanne Chicane. Heavy front damage.
The Level 5 HPD is dumping fuel into the exhaust while in the pits, spewing flames out the back and when it starts-up is shoots out huge fireballs.

very very strange le mans this 1 so far not to sure what I make of it still feel absolutely numb from the start but Radio Le Mans have been absolutely professional, knowing how small the paddock community is its a terrible shame.
