Popping back over to TORA for the finish. Shame it looks like none of the ones I was "pulling" for will actually get the win.

Do I assume the Porsche is running the same powerplant as the 997 did? It doesn't seem to have ANY of the "new car gremlins" you'd normally see.

congrats to Toyota for a great rebound from last years race, one car on the podium, both top 4, both finishing, great work
congrats to the other winners in LMP2, GTE Pro and Am,
awesome race to watch, never know what to expect

Well done to Audi again!

However GT was where the race long battle was at, sooo happy to for Porsche to take a one , two!!! And to win the Am class aswell Very Happy

Def a race to remember, for the sad news at the start but it has been up and down with the weather making it exciting from start to finish.

don't worry mate, i'm exactly the same, i will admit, when i got up this morning and read the news, i cried for a solid 5 minutes, like i know i wasn't alive when it happened, but seeing Ayrton Senna's death still shakes me and makes me upset, i treat him like a god, but never actually cried from it, but this I did, for quite some time, even during the podium talking about him, i was tearing up, mainly because i saw it as well, idk what it was, but it's just terrible,

and like you said, we are all Danish, we are all Aston Martin,

Most of the established TORA members will know just how involved in the sports car racing family the TORA staf has bcome over the last few years. We have many friends in France right now and we are with them today in spirit.
Just going to post something I tweeted earlier today;

I too wear my emotions on my sleeve, to the point that it sometimes can be a bit much for some.

Yesterday's wreck... it was a bit too much for me to take. I was in disbelief, then overwhelmingly sad, then angry. I couldn't really "get into" the race for some 5-6 hours to be honest.

I will say, without any guilt, that the way everything was twisting and turning overnight into the wee hours, I am glad the race went on as it did to help get my mind off the dark side of racing.
