TORA V8 SUPERCARS CHAMPIONSHIP - MEDIA

I have never raced a V8 Supercar online, and to be honest, its always been a series thats at the very upper part of my driving talents or lack of them more to the point these days, but when i heard about the finale to this series and with the lack of racing on Forza this year, i thought a nice way to cap off my racing on Forza 5, going all out on a paint, practising lots and a race at two hours long, i wouldnt care finishing 10 laps down, i be just happy to finish.

So over the last six weeks or so, i have been drawing logos, aiming to make an effort on the paint for it. Now i should say, i do watch the V8 Supercars, anyone who knows where my secret OCD library is will know that i have the races posted, although i will admit, i do watch most of them live these days, the joys of being a night owl, the 05:00 start time is perfectly acceptable in my world.



So my choice of paint, well i decided to choose the one of the two teams i dont like and since i dont do Red Bull, the thought of doing the HRT team may surprise a few people that know me, but 25 years strong this year and i was hoping to reproduce the 2015 livery. Unfortunately, the body, its a bit like owning a Alfa Romeo, looks great but breaks down on a regular basis, decided to have a few days off over the past few weeks, so the painting time has been limited, but i have a plan b, the Super Test Livery from i think it was Sydney, cant remember now, was an all black number and having finally finished the three main logos, has resulted in being chucked together quite easily.

So Tuesday Night, im going to be James Courtney, please feel free to hurl abuse at me, chances are you would be muted anyways and i look forward to watching the field pass me at regular intervals as im being lapped. But a nice way to finish off Forza Motorsports 5 and awaiting September 10th, when the next generation becomes available (its downloaded, im being patient)

A test livery, well for my talents, this will be a test, but the prospect of taking a Sunday Tuesday drive around Mount Panorama in a V8, well theirs worse things in life. I hope to get a qualifying run in, just tricky in next few days due to donating bodily fluids to the local vampire population, but i will be there Tuesday.

Two weeks of practicing, four logos made from scratch for the car, and the bloody Xbox froze on Lap Three of the first stint. If ever there was a situation to sum up Forza Motorsports 5 and the journey its been over the last two years, that was it and im one of those that love the game on a whole.

My last race on Forza 5 as im busy donating my bodily fluids to the local vampire population over the next couple of weeks, so i will be floating at around 28,000 feet, thankfully the second stint worked well, a personal best lap time as well, running a 2:10:080 which im not exactly sure where it came from since i was happy running 2:12's coming into the evening. I didnt finish last either, although with the lagout in stint one, i have won a TORA wooden spoon in the Championship Standings, which i shall look forward to stirring my Project CARS soup, i would offer you all some, but it would probably freeze while being shipped over and leave you in the pits for twenty minutes.
