Lets put it this way boys..... either the Turbo isput in
OR
You end up with cars at PI ooohhh lets sayyyy..... 10
ANY Le Mans series reserve the right to undertake performance adjusting measure to keep a level playing field and the integrity of the series.
Them's the breaks.
Bottom line is NO CHANGES will be made, until after Sebring. If any performance adjustments are required they will be stipulated during the period between the races.
Sebring will be run with the current carlist and with the current PI's EXCLUDING THE PORSCHE TURBO

Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
Im happy with the decision there jenson but just to put down one final point, howcome the porche was released with one car already choose which to me is hugely unfair on everyone who would want the car, surely it should be released (if it becomes availible) at a date and time which everyone knows about so that everyone has a fair chance of using the car

Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
Indeed. The same was done this season in the GTs. The car selection thread opened up and the very person who opened up the thread bags himself three Porches which prior to the season starting were expected to be the fastest cars on the grid. Its just not a level playing field that way is it. I know that there isn't much else you can do but there must be a better way than that. Say having somebody who doesn't even run in the particular series open the car selection thread and make sure its opened on time?

Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
Whats the start procedure for qualifying? Because if you're in a lobby with slower cars then you could just wait at the start to avoid all the traffic. Yes it means you lose half a minute but you'll set much quicker laptimes because you won't be fighting through traffic all session.

The grid will be on PI, so you will not have to navigate slower cars.
Everyone has the responsibility to make their own space on the track.

But that means that now, especially on a track like Sebring, who can slipstream down the straight has a huge advantage.

Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
i know its kinda late, but i randomly built a DB9 to GT1 specs, and with some amount of testing ive done for Silverstone GP, the DB9 i built was faster so far than my Ford GT.
here inlies my question. Were any of the GTC cars considered for GT1 status in the LMS? cuz i find the V12 Vanquish has weaker handling stats than the DB9 (when both have full weight reduction, max width tires, and firestone Race compound tires)

Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
Are we allowed to change classes? I want to drop down to GT3 because I don't really want to try to get my Viper up to speed.

Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
I'm looking for a car in GT2 and was told that there was a list for a while. I don't see it in the Rulebook. Should I just contact a steward to see if the car I'd like to use is eligible or is there an updated version of the GT2 class list?

Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
The rulebook has been updated, so please all have a review of it, in particular the GT2 regulations.
Cheers.
