No, I totally understand Orzel's position here. I had forgotten the rule that you have to stay on your line when being lapped (7.5.4 of the driver's handbook), and tried to give him the racing line. Unfortunately, by the time I'd got to the other side of the track, Orzel was already beside me. I'm definitely in the wrong here - I didn't try to crash into him, but what I did was wrong and caused an accident.

Stewards Decision: -50 Championship Point Penalty applied to TheYakobski for causing major, avoidable contact with Orzel022. All drivers that are being lapped are expected to hold their line and cause minimal interference with the driver going past. This, is anything but. Given Yakobski's explanation, this is being given as the strictest penalty beside a full race disqualification. These sort of crashes cannot happen - everyone is expected to follow the rules of the road.

Description by DDM MeaD 212: GTR TURBO92 decides to dive up the inside of track going through the kink after the hairpin, pushing me off track and causing me to lose control trying to correct it. Causes me to lose multiple positions and time

Stewards Decision: -3 Championship Points Penalty to GTR Turbo92 for causing avoidable contact with DDM Mead 212, resulting in a loss of position. A warning is also issued to Mead for an unsafe rejoin to the racing surface. When you go off-track, regardless of reason, you now must be careful to avoid creating further issues. Yes, Mead was forced wide by Turbo, but he should've braked more heavily on re-entry and this would've likely prevented the additional incident with Turbo in the next turn.

Description by GTR Julian: Kami and I were approaching a GT4 and Kami decided to do an illegal extension to pass a GT4. He should have just let off and passed him legally on the right side.

Stewards Decision: -3 Championship Points Penalty given to TFZ Kami for illegally passing a GT4 driver while off-track. Per multi-class racing etiquette, the car in the class being lapped is expected to hold the racing line. Therefore, Kami should have been positioned to make a pass to the inside, not get caught out on corner exit and take evasive maneuvers to the outside.

Description by galeforce97: Flash on the first racing lap hits Chaos fox into the hairpin which sends ChaosFox into me causing me to drop from 2nd to 4th, then on the second lap Flash once again comes flying into the hairpin, threads the needle between 2 cars and slams into me, spinning me out and dropping me all the way to last.

Stewards Decision: Two separate penalties will be assessed to TK FlashAWD - a -3 Points Penalty for Incident 1, and a -5 Points Penalty for Incident 2. Flash overshot the hairpin and careened into several cars across both incidents. If you're following closely behind another driver, you must compensate your braking point, not only for their potentially different braking point, but must compensate for the draft.
