The following teams will be assessed a 10k penalty to their final distance for not having both their top qualifying drivers run at least one stint. The rule clearly states the top two qualifiers must run at least one stint. The qualifying driver who did not run a stint is also listed for each team.

Description by SGR Yuuko: Exiting turn three, Kartz hits the rear of my car, causing a loss of control which sent me into the wall with heavy damage.

Description by RZM Zenith: SVR Solar is about to get lapped by JIM Vettel. He makes a mistake on turn 3 and goes off into the grass on the right side of the esses. He rejoins right on the racing line just as Vettel comes up to him, and both receive damage. This accident cost Vettel the GT class lead.

Stewards decision: Racing incident. Solar did nothing wrong here as he did have an off but was trying to get the car under control. Vettel should have been able to see he was off track and struggling and taken more care in getting around him.

Stewards decision: Written warning for LR BLAZER for avoidable contact. The only reason(s) this was not elevated to a minor penalty is there was no discernable hindrance to the GT car that was hit, and ODM Nick did not file an SI.

Side note: If your going to file an SI for one of your drivers involved in an incident, you should probably check and make sure they weren't the one who caused the incident in the first place.

Description by GTR Beard: I am exiting the final corner of the lap, and McQueen gets a better run on exit. McQueen does not even make an effort to miss me instead he drives straight through me, only tapping his brakes to make sure he does not get collected by me as I spin out.

Description by SVTyler1744: Submitting my perspective in case Matt submitted his own. Dude got up on the curb, got loose, cut in front of me and took himself out on my front bumper. My steering input to the left immediately before contact was to catch a slight slide caused by wheelspin from him compromising my exit line (see/hear the RPMs spike and drop even as I keep applying full throttle), before that I was full lock to the right trying to avoid him once I saw he was up on the curb.

Description by aRandomDemon: I come up to the Viper in the GT class to overtake, and after a small bit contact manage to do so. This slowed me down and allowed for Lgamer to catch up. After he makes the initial contact, he keeps pushing me going down the hill which in turn causes my back-end to let go. At this point I'm unable to still save the car and get sent into the tire wall. At no point was an attempt made by them to break the contact between our cars and given the corner is easy flatout, I kept full throttle as well assuming I would still be able to make the corner and they would make an attempt to slow down.

Description by FoxJasonD: Going into turn 11, I was planning to take my final pit, so I slowed down a little in order to stay on the inside make the pit lane. frobojobo3131 (#647) doesn't slow down and slams into me at full speed, causing my car to spin out down the hill and miss the pit entrance. I didn't sustain damage, but lost time recovering from the hit.

Stewards decision: Racing incident, however, it is noted that FoxJasonD's intentions were not clear as he veered back out into the racing line just before the pit entrance . If your going to make your pit stop, you must stay off the racing line prior to pit entrance so as not to impede oncoming traffic.

Description by SGR Yuuko: Slowed down for turn three, being cautious as it was early in the race, hit from behind by Luigi which sent me off track in an area where the the wall makes it difficult to recover, leading to me clipping the side of his car in an unavoidable accident and spinning into the wall. Luigi did not sustain damage from the contact and was able to continue.

Stewards decision: Due to the number and severity of incidents GTR Luigi was involved in, he will receive DQ's for BOTH stints one and three.
In addition, he is hereby placed on probation for the rest of the year. Any further penalties incurred will result in a suspension of his racing privileges here at TORA

TORA does not expect it's members to all be profession caliber drivers, but we do expect respect of others racing around and with you during an event The ultimate goal is for everyone to have some fun and get a brief reprieve from life's annoyances. This is definitely overshadowed by someone who demonstrates a callous disregard for others on track.
