Hamilton is a great talent, it would be ashame for him not to win any more titles. Ofcourse, im not a big Mac fan (no pun intended Laughing

).. Im looking foward to some nice battles this season, and if Jenson's up there, im rooting for him, same with Barrichello. I like to support underdogs.

i think BRAWN have a really gd kers system or much better aero package. i noticed there running the side board things behind the front wheels, i thought they where banned?

lets remember imola 2006 and the fact mr brawn used to work 4 ferreri who always get it there way.

Bad Week
It's been an out-and-out stinker for the Woking boys. They turned up to Barcelona with a plan - at last, the Australian GP aero would be fitted to MP4-24 and the ugly duckling would emerge as a swan. Instead it emerged as an ugly duck. Brawn GP proved that it can't be the engine at fault and Martin Whitmarsh subsequently admitted that his problems were chassis-centric.
In fact the degree of admission of failure was interesting to see across the spectrum of Messrs Dennis, Whitmarsh and Haug. Ron thought the problem would be fixed in Jerez, Whitmarsh by Melbourne and Haug after a couple of races.
Best of all, though, was the Ronspeak description of their problem - sadly it was Martin Whitmarsh who delivered it: "We have a performance shortfall in the car".
Not "slow", no, they have a performance shortfall.

So when the BBC's elderly vicar figure - Jonathan Leggard - is commentating on the races through the season and he sees the McLaren running at less than optimal pace he'll have to remember to say it's got a performance shortfall not that it's going slowly.
It opens up a whole new area of sports description that can be used in so many disciplines.
In athletics: "I would have won the 100m but I had a performance shortfall"
In cycling: "I had a performance shortfall coming off the final bend."
Or animal races: "that tortoise has got a real performance shortfall."
The season hasn't even begun and we've already got one of our quotes of the year - how good is that.

I like McClaren so I want them up the top. I would like to see BrawnGP up there aswell cos Button deserves to have a good car since he sat and waited for Honda to do something before they bottled it this year.

ya not think the engine is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better? cz mind wat torro rosso could do with that ferrari power at the end of 08. the merc is defo better than the honda, ok yes they have gd aero but the engine is a big step 4 that team

Well, if they stated 15 months ago, im sure Honda could have came up with a fantastic powerplant, instead of having a customer engine..

And look what Renault did with their underpowered 2008 powerplant

after a front wing change tho nicky. but yes reno did wonders with that engine in the last 3 races of 08.

still think Ferrari are the team too beat tho can see a 2004 season happening again.

Anyway, im reall looking foward to the season, F1 2005 and 2004 dont work on my PS2!!!
