Stobart returns at Laguna. To compete at Road America

After a very succesful meeting yesterday in Calfornia, TBR Stobart will continue to race in the GT3 category at the RLM 500 which takes place at Elkhart Lake in two weeks time. Ex Audi Sport Gulf driver was offered a place in the Monterrey Sportscar Championships just after building a GT3 Spec Vauxhall VX220-R. Dispite a grid penalty, the race went smoothly, finnishing 2nd in lobby.

Stobart take maiden podium at the RLM 500 at Elkhart Lake

After an epic race at Elkhart Lake, the team managed to get a second place finnish after a thrilling final 10 minute battle. The team show all respects to the MB Motorsport sqaud. What started off as a one off has now turned into something else... hmm where have we seen that... (Mr Plato please stand up..).

Oh, and theres rumours that a second car will be run.

Stobart to run two Vauxhalls for 1000km of Suzuka

As the end of the season looms, TBR will be running a second car as a wingman for team leader Nicky. Chad joins the team after a break from racing. He will run a second Vauxhall VX220, his number has yet to be confirmed as the #4 was taken off him. He will run in a white car as opposed to my ''Red Arrow'' VX220. The main aim is to get #99 driver, Nicky into third in the standings for GT3.

Stobart takes a double podium in GT3 in Japan

the #104 Lotus Exige of Chad took second place in a thrilling battle with Martini Porsche's Nick Moore in todays 1000km of Suzuka, while nicky in the #99 Vauxhall VX220 brought it home in third in a lonely race.

The team now packs up its equipment onto a plane for the long haul back to Europe for the finale of the TORA Le Mans Series; The Green Hell, the Nurburgring North Loop, the infamous Nordschleife.

Nurburgring 24 Hours: Stobart Preveiw

Its time for the second running of the Nurburgring 24 Hours on TORA, and its the first time it has been included in a championship. Gone are the SP class A850 cars, and in, are the P1, GT1, GT2 and GT3's to commence battle in Germany.

In the GT3 standings, #99 driver, Nicky is closing in on third placed Racelegend after a podium finnish, and technical gremlins for the MB Motorsport Ferrari's at Suzuka. The long straights, and sweepeing technical sections should suit the 220R Vauxhall after a best ever second place at Suzuka. Chad in his Exige GT3 will need to up the power a bit.

So its all going down to the wire in Germany, see you in two weeks time.

Nicky taken away in Viper drive

Nicky will be driving an ex-Zakspeed Viper for the upcoming Nurburgring 24 Hours, as the championship is no longer much of a concern, and he would like to challenge the front runners for once, which was not possible in the Vauxhall. Backing Nicky will be Mad Croc Energy Drink along with all his personal sponsers.
