M&M Racing Garage

Well, since everybody else is updating their paint threads I thought I would go the same. Pretty much all of these cars are imported from Forza 3 as I haven't really had the time to sit down and paint much in FM4. The only exceptions are the Forza Motorsport 4 cars and the Mercedes SLS. I dunno what it is just now but I seem to be really struggling to come up with new designs or to make them look 'right' if you know what I mean. After going through all these photos and paints I realize that I'm not exactly adventurous with my designs

I try to do replicas but then I always end up using the base design and tailoring it to suit my needs and using the sponsors I always use. The Gran Turismo GT-R is my first and probably only full replica so far. I'm planning on doing more when I get the time/inspiration to do them. After seeing some of the incredible paints on FM4 and FM.net just now I realize how much my cars don't really look like proper 'race cars' and it feels like there is something missing. Well, enough with the chat, I hope you enjoy and any Feedback is welcome

Rogue Motorsport FM4 MR-S - British racing team Rogue Motorsport are currently sponsored by Forza Motorsport 4. After meeting them at the Britcar 24hr this year I just had to go and replicate their car. This eventually led to me using the design for a few other cars as I am very fond of it.

Forza Motorsport Abarth 500 - Used in our Abarth 500 Trophy series.




Forza Motorsport Lexus SC430 - Currently using this in our SuperGT vs DTM series, although I had to transfer the livery onto this as it seemed very fitting.




TORA TCC Honda Civic Type-R - The Civic was inspired by the Dechau A Speed Aston Martin Vantage that runs in the GT300 class of the SuperGT.




TORA TCC Acura RSX - The Acura is a remake of my very first paint I made in Forza 2 which was on a Mugen Integra.




Spoon Sports Honda Fit - I created this for use on one of EZT's StockHatch series. It strted out as a full replica and I got pretty far with it, although I was missing numerous logo and must have gotten bored before finishing it, hence the random assortment of logos




TORA NGTC - Another car created for series use. I didn't do the base design of this one, Ian did, but I tidied it up for him and placed the logos over the top to make it look like a race car.




Gran Turismo GT-R R34 - My first and so far only full replica as I have mentioned. Scot helped me out with the Gran Turismo and Playstation text/logo. I'm very proud of this car and have always been a huge fan of it since the first time it showed up in the GT games.




TORA GT 458 - Another series car, painted when the 458 was first released on Forza 3.




TORA GT SLS - My newest car and to be honest, I think it's lacking something. I didn't particularly enjoy painting the car as nothing seemed to work and it's so freakin' big.




TORA GT Audi R8 - Another remake of a Forza 2 paint.




TORA GT Ford Shelby GT500 - Inspired by the Olsbergs MSE Fiesta Rally Cars. This is probably one of my favourite ones.




TORA GT Nissan 370Z - A prototype design that I had taked off my GT2 Nissan 350Z which I have yet to buy in Forza 4. Inspired by the Sumo Power Nissan GT-R GT1 cars.




TORA Holden V8 - Another series car. I started using this design on various other cars. It was a much more metallic paint on FM3 but the way that FM4 work I couldn't the vinyl shapes to match the colour properly.




TORA ISCC Jaguar GT2 - A few years old now as I painted it when the Jag was first released on FM3.




Aston Martin DBR9 GT1 - This started out as a replica for the Aston Martin Dechau SuperGT car but I was planning on making it a GT1 car. As usual I ended up using numerous random logos and sponsors. I had created GT1 numberboxes for it but I changed them when testing out some new series boxes I had made. I forgot to switch them over and those GT1 boxes are still on my FM3 save file




BMW M3 SuperGT GT300 Calsonic and Calsonic A4 DTM - I love the Calsonic cars so I went through a phase of making as many of them as I could.






TORA ISCC Signatech Nissan LMP1 car - Inspired by the Signatch Nissan's I used the base design and again added my own things to it. This was on a Porsche RS Spyder in Forza 3.




TORA ISCC Nissan Lola - Another prototype series car. See a theme emerging?




TORA ISCC Dechau Peugeot 908 LMP1 - Yeap, another series car.




Sorry for photobombing, but I just thought I would share. I have several more but I have yet to buy the cars in the game. I must be one of few people struggling for money in FM4

Updated OP with my Gran Turismo R34 based off of the one in the game.

Always wanted to make this. It's not quite done yet as I have ran out of layers for one of my stickers so I'm gonna have to edit it a bit. ck provided me with the GT, Polphony and PS2 logos but the rest of them I made myself.

This is my first proper Replica so I tried hard with it.

Turned out very well, looking forward to getting hold of one! Glad I could help out, I had fancied doing it myself when I bought one in GT PSP.

Now you need to find some layers to do the safety car version!

OMG!!!! i'll give 100,000 credits to anyone who comes up with the official TORA Safety Car..... actually i think i'll make a competition out of it!

This is a really good idea!

The winning design could be put up in an auction house for free to be used by members in Lobby hoppers for promotional purposes and used as a base for our TORA team paintwork for TORA vs UKOG.

Make it happen!!

have you seen my creations thread lately? i've got an idea already in there. i dont have the newer RadioLeMans logo yet though, so i had used the older one and the RLM helmet
