I agree with Nicky with the adverts, the only thing you advertise is Viagra or food products

Re: BTCC 2010
Nice result overall, especially for Gio, let's hope he can get a seat for the rest of the season
Also, why does Shedden have #54 printed on the back of his race suit when I always thought he was #52 :S

Re: BTCC 2010
Oh god, Matt Neal is a complete POO FOR BRAINS!... And he didn't even apologise to Collard.. He is giving the BTCC a very bad name, lots of European people think the BTCC is full of drivers like that, which is damaging the series.
Get him banned for a few races!

I think the Forster guys broke their engines in the Media Day, not sure about the Integra though.

Re: BTCC 2010
Yeah, the Forster BMWs lost both their engines at media day and had to send them back to Schnitzer for repair, it was touch and go getting them back in time for yesterday. No idea about Lea Wood though, perhaps elected to only enter selected rounds?
Gutted for Shedden in race 1, he took a massive lead out on Gio before that tyre failure. Thruxton has always been hard on tyres, and the teams never listen to Dunlop when they say don't set it up so aggressively. Glad Gio took the wins in 1 and 2 though, he's a class act and hopefully this will bring sponsors in to keep him racing this season.
As for Matt Neal's move on Rob Collard, you could see him trying that a mile off. How many times has he tried pulling that move off? It's going to be investigated by the stewards at Rockingham, he should recive a penalty for that.

Re: BTCC 2010
Me and Sam debated that move for like an hour (he was over mine watching the race)
Its a shame they never showed us the footage from Neals car, but from my point of view Neal should be penalised.
The Civic's looked stupidly strong though (although the aggressive setup may have had something to do with it)
I was dissapointed with Plato in the Cruze though.... Was hopeing for more and he looked distinctly average and slightly uncomfortable....

Re: BTCC 2010
Yeah, the Civic was looking brutally quick, wasn't it?
Shedden FTchampionshipW!
As for Plato, I think today was as much getting used to the car and running on the Dunlops. Although it's a different compound from the rest of the season, he said himself after his race one podium that they were going to go cut the tyre up and see what was happening to it. I think this race and probably Rockingham next they'll see as data collecting while scoring consistent points.
At the end of the day, despite his measured approach, he's walked away second in the championship following a second, fourth and third places, as well as picking up points for fastest lap in race 2. Remember that it's not race wins that win a championship, it's consistency, and clearly Jason's got that in his head straight from the off.
Plato FTchampionshipW!
Even then I think that if they can get the funding for Gio's season, on yesterday's showing he can really push Plato for it. I still think Plato will win the 2010 driver's championship, but with Gio there I can see it being another season going down to the wire on the last day. The guy really is quick in that Vectra, especially after being race rusty and not taking part in any of the pre-season testing. Pure class.
Giovanardi FTchampionshipW!
Oh, wait, I am sounding like Bernie now...

Re: BTCC 2010
Cant believe your not considering Matt Jackson for the Title...
He nearly did it in his old BMW and this non-privateer car should theoretically have more potential....
My pick for dark horse....

Re: BTCC 2010
I've always said Jackson will be there contending for the championship win. I just can't place the order I think they'll come in. I reckon it's between Shedden, Gio, Jackson, Plato, and Neal.

Re: BTCC 2010
Nah not Shedden for me gets caught up in too much drama to win it. It will be Neal, Plato and Gio if he sats plus Turkington if he returns

Re: BTCC 2010
I Dont think Turkington even if he can get the money together for a drive.
Even though he's defending champion i dont think he's got another one in him.
And I think your right about Shedden nick. Dont think he can keep himself out of trouble enough to make any points headway.
