You don't actually appreciate how fast those cars are flying past until you see something like that do you.

Some poor sap is going to fork out for Murdochvision?

If nobody subscribes to sky sports next year, clearly some people have more money than sense though, whats the outcome? (Aside from the giant ratings slump in the UK)

The best thing we can do, is not watch F1 on Sky instead watch all of it on the BBC, that way something will click and they will realise.

New Jersey once again being considered for US Grand Prix.

And from what I hear it'll be held IN ADDITION to the Austin GP.

I knew it! I was told FIA inspectors were in Mexico to look at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez recently.

F1 really should go there, the sight of watching F1 cars go through the Peraldata after all these years would be fantastic! Its a classic circuit, the atmosphere would be fantastic, it would be a sellout every year, especially with Perez in the field.

Its a track that really deserves a place on the calendar. Much more so than uninterested parts of the world like Abu Dhabi and Bahrain..

Although... Mexico is in the middle of a bloody drug war in its Northern States, which may pose some problems.

This is dumb, FOTA already says there are too many races, we lost Turkey, we're about to lose Spa, and now they want to add Mexico?

F1 is no longer going to be about racing, its just going to be a series of events where Bernie visits as many poor countries as he can taking money from the couple of rich people there.

Yes, but in Mexico, the people actually want to see a Grand Prix. Champ Car sold out the huge grandstands in Mexico City in 2007.

They need to get rid of Bahrain, Turkey (check), Abu Dhabi... Not only because the circuits themselves are shocking, but because the people of these countries are just not interested.

Turkey is one of the best tracks in F1. I don't think its fair to blame the poor attendance on the Turkish people. The tickets are way too expensive, and honestly, F1 is a TV sport first and formost. The Turkish GP is always a good race and even if no one shows up in person, the MILLIONS watching it on TV enjoy it.

How much did Champ Car tickets cost? I'm guessing a lot less, and Mexico isn't that rich of a country. Plus, they haven't had a GP in 20 years, which means they would have to upgrade their track to current standards if its going to happen. Almost without fail that means Tilke is going to show up and create a terrible loop of tarmac that produces terrible races. Why should we lose one of the best races of the year for that?

Heidfeld hasn't been the greatest, but he's still a safe bet. I can't really see the upside of putting Senna in the car.

Heidfeld hasn't been spectacular, his race at Malaysia was incredible but Hedifeld is Mr consistant he will always bring the car home more often or not in the points, bad idea by Renault i think bringing Senna in mid season it probably won't work out for them unfortunately!

Well, except for that big wad of cash they are getting, there is no other reason for such a move.

Unless Heidfeld is proven to be explosion prone, this move was definitely not motivated by performance issues.

OMG! How can they replace quick Nick for Bruno Senna? As much as I love the name Senna and I originally thought he would be good considering he is related to the late Ayrton Senna, he is just not that good. Sad Now that could be to do with the car he had. He never really got the chance in the... (HRT was it?) But he could be good in a Renault. We shall see.
