Re: OFFICIAL F1 2011
He is a competent peddler, he did a stint with Oreca in the LMS a few years back, and did well in F3 and GP2.
HRT can make anyone look bad.

Re: OFFICIAL F1 2011
Oh for definite HRT could kill any drivers reputation with one race! They just haven't got the money to develop well. Maybe Bruno will do really well in Renault and maybe get an even better drive at someone like Ferrari? Only these last few races will tell

Not sure about Ferrari, Alonso is there for the next half a decade, and Massa's seat will likely go to Sergio Perez.

Re: OFFICIAL F1 2011
Ah ok, well, someone like that, hopefully not Red Bull, McLaren is a no go, both Hamilton and Button staying, so Renault is his best bet at the moment, unless he gets a Mercedes drive?

Re: OFFICIAL F1 2011
Who knows? He could end up getting the Renault seat if, god forbids, Kubica has to hang up the helmet early.
Red Bull is a possibility, but again, who knows? Perhaps someone like Kimi Raikonnen, with his Red Bull ties, might make a comeback, you just never know.
Other than Mercedes, which isn't letting go of Schumi and Di Caprio anytime soon, there isn't really any other teams that are much better than Renault, so if I were him I would stay put.

Re: OFFICIAL F1 2011
True. I hope Kubica does come back. Such a great driver. What you said about Mercedes. Whos Di Caprio? I take it you meant Rosberg?

Re: OFFICIAL F1 2011
I was listening to RLM yesterday, and they explained the new BBC/Sky deal in very clear terms.
- BBC gets first pick of the races they want to show live.
- BBC gets 10 races.
- BBC can show full coverage of any Sky race, but may only broadcast the FOM feed at a minimum of 5 hours after the beginning of the formation lap.
- Sky Sports would prefer to not have the early morning fly away races.
BBC will most likely go for the first and last races, Monaco and Silverstone.
The other 6 races are up for speculation. I think it will go along the lines of Malaysia, China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Spa...

Re: OFFICIAL F1 2011
Hallaleugha! Finally someone explains it simple. And Sky Sports have the contract, its their duty to do whatever race they got! Lazy sods don't wanna get up early to present a race!? Good to know the beeb get first choice. IMO, the 6 other races I would like to see them show;Monza, Spa, Singapore, Canada, Germany (Preferrably Nurburg) and Abu Dhabi.

Re: OFFICIAL F1 2011
Well and truly Maldonado's fault, he could clearly see Hamilton was not on a flying lap, but ohhhh no, he goes and hits him. Like wtf? If you see aswell, Hamilton even got out of the way for him!
Fantastic drive by Senna! Very well done! Maybe they can get rid of Petrov, and have Kubica and Senna!
Congrats to Vettel for a great lap that he pulled out of the bag! Gonna be a great race tomorrow! Hoping for rain!

Re: OFFICIAL F1 2011
My bad! I'm not saying Petrov is a bad driver, cos he is great! But, Senna deserves a good drive! And I don't want to see Kubica go!

As long as Petrov brings in Russian government money, he will stay in that seat.

F1 doing NASCAR a favour there...
5 place penalty for that, is taking all sorts of bodily fluids not just the yellowy one.

Re: OFFICIAL F1 2011
From what I saw, Hamilton was slowing down as he was not on a flying lap, but if he was out of the way anymore, he would be in the wall! Then the straight bent as it does, but Maldonado went straight and Hamilton was following the track. I think Hamilton had to get that reprimand because he did have contact with Maldonado to complete his flying lap. But Maldonado got what he deserved.
