Re: Show off your latest purchase
stupid 3d glasses, Not Needed. as the pic shows on the case, there are two cameras on the top which, in the day ive had it and used it, would kinda act like your own eyes in how we would normally see things. now i havent bought any '3DS' titles, as none excite me as of yet, but the camera mode really proves that. the system has a slider that turns on/off the 3d, and you can really tell between your typical 2d pictures where everything's flat, and when your taking a pic in 3D. Also, it came with a 2GB SD card in the sd-card slot, so thats a plus.
for now though, it'll be used for Pokemon white/black.

Re: Show off your latest purchase
Mines is waiting for me at home to get back from work. I played it at PAX and was extremely impressed with the 3D and by the fact you could adjust the strength or put it off all together. I played SFIV and graphically it looked absolutely incredibly for a Nintendo console. Gonna pick that up and maybe Dead or Alive but it's the AR Games I am really looking forward to playing.

Operation Flashpoint - Dragon Rising
Fallout New Vegas
Not impressed at all with Operation Flashpoint. Can somebody please tell me what is so good about this game?
Played Grid last night for the first time too, not entirely overstruck with that either, handling feels waaaay too arcadey.

Nice! My mate has lets say, a fairly large statuette collection. He clearly has too much money!! When he pops up on Facebook I'll grab a link to some photos he has on a collectors forum (I can't find em right now).
Re: Show off your latest purchase
My collection has been growing and growing over the last few months. I'll get some pics up later on. Looking forward to getting Iron Man to match War Machine

Re: Show off your latest purchase
Took it out today and fell in love. Have driven the 3 door Type-S and Type-R before, and was convinced I wanted one. Was actually wanting the 2.2 turbo-diesel, but when I drove the petrol today I decided to go for it instead.
My missus is in her element, because the dash shows the current speed so she knows when I am speeding, and it has an economy meter, so I'll not be gunning it all the time. I love how it has an engine start switch too, how the console wraps round you, the six-speed gearbox, the variable valve-timing, just love it.
It might not be a 3 litre V8, but it is a practical family car with a good burst of speed, next Wednesday can't come quick enough.

Nah, gun-metal grey, not far off the colour in the picture, though you can't really tell.
A championship-white respray, new-style grill and Team Dynamics alloys are on the cards though!
